When you go dancing, there is way less drama. My wife and I went dancing a little while back and there were two young women dancing next to us and their boyfriends (who looked like UFC fighters) were standing only 15 feet away next to the dance floor. One of the women stepped on my foot with her high heel and then put her hand on my shoulder and apologized. I told her not to worry about it. After our brief conversation, I noticed that her boyfriend was staring me down, but only for a second or two, then he looked away with a look on his face like he was thinking, "I'm not worried about that old guy." 25 years ago he would have done more than simply stare me down for 1-2 seconds then look away.

In Titus 2:3-5 it seems that older women are to be regarded as wise and even honored for their age. They have life experience they can give the younger women. Think of it this way, wouldn't you want to go back to being 20 knowing what you know now? I would! And I'm only 5 years older. But I've learned so much in those 5 years. I can only imagine what women in their 40s know that I don't.

Unfortunately we cannot go back in time, but we can act with maturity as we age. We can begin to see the blessings ahead and what's truly important in life: our relationship with the Lord.

In Proverbs 31:25 it says the woman "laughs at the days to come." I think this means, that she knows what's coming but it doesn't bother her. She realizes it's just a fact of life that EVERY woman will go through and has instead focused her attention on God.

I believe the enemy attacks us and distorts God's blessings. It's a blessing to be an older woman because by then she's not only wise, but her character is mature and much more beautiful than when she was younger. You see, women tend to only focus on physical beauty but the Lord sees much more in us.

I'm 20 and can't wait to be old!

Your done with life pretty much and can chill in a nice rocking chair. Gray hair is pretty and as weird as it is I like crows feet and wrinkles. Where they are tell a lot about your life. Retirement and just looking forward to being closer to Jesus, literally haha.

Yea there's sad things like losing family and friends, etc. but hey if they were living right you don't have much longer to wait for them.

I hated my teens and am hating my 20s and I just begun them. I will trade age with anyone over 50, lol. I wish

I remember as a kid, thinking while God was pouring conviction over me to go to the alter thru His spirit, and I thought , "Oh, If only I was older!, Older people go to the alter all the time, people expect that out of them." Then when I became middle aged I was again convicted to move my feet to an act of submission in the church setting, and I thought, "How embarrassing for an adult, established in the church to have to go to the alter, If I were a child it wouldn't matter." At that time God reminded me of the earlier experience. At a lose of reply, I simply stepped out and boar the burden of reconciliation at that particular moment.

I didn't regret the cost. In the same way a older person should delight in the wisdom of our age, young people should delight in the stamina of their season, for it is all under one heading: Our equally valid current testimony and the purpose of it under Christ Jesus. To represent the Gospel in it's fullness as to the angle this current Testimony is presently drawing out of us in love.

The grass isn't greener on the other side of either fence. For God is what makes both sides green.

Paul tells us that contentment comes not from circumstances but, rather, despite them. I love my good older self, and I also loved my younger good self as well. And I appreciate things in both camps from afar that are different, but We all need to be content in where we are not to lose the passing, blessing, of the moment at hand. For God works in us thru joy and crisis, we need not miss his molding in unthankfulness of our predicament. All things turn out good who love the Lord. It's not in the big events or accomplishments that God's glory is seen the most, it is in the small steps of our weakness on every side of the plots of land in our chapters of being, that His glory can be seen the brightest. God has a huge smile on His face when we thank Him for who we are right now!

I do look forward to getting older because as we do we gain more wisdom and understanding. The only thing holding me back in wanting to stay younger is finding the man God has in store for me and once I am blessed with that I am good to age gracefully.

* I do beg to be allowed to say: Don´t hurry to meet Jesus, they set their time for you.

* That hair will get grey and, to my surprise, I have seen how ladies changed their minds, when they started to dye it...

* I´m sorry for the rest on things you´ve mentioned... I have heard some old ppl also mourned for their age.

Ecc 12:1 Keep your Creator in mind while you are young! In years to come, you will be burdened down with troubles and say, "I don't enjoy life anymore."

Pretty sure I've already reached Ecc. 12. Best years in life are your childhood and old age, the inbetween are where all the burdens and troubles are. I've felt like Solomon many times, everything is vainity haha.

But thanks I will try to think more positively about my age :)
