Also none of the women you listed were terribly attractive to me, so that certainly doesnt help your argument Tribesman
Sir, I have to disagree. First, a woman's attractiveness is not limited to her physical beauty,
there's also her inner beauty;
so I guess you must know personally all these women above to make such a blatant statement !
Second, even if we would agree to limit a woman's attractiveness to her physical beauty,
all these three women are very beautiful to me !
They are feminine with long hair, they have a beautiful face with a great smile, they take a good care of their body,
how could I not find them attractive even physically ?

Wrong ! You should have said YOU think beard is repulsive and disgusting. And no, it's not, in my view.

I prefer clean-shaven, but appearance really isn't that important as long as he is clean and well-groomed. Mustaches kind of creep me out, though.

For me...

When I find a wife, I will alter all the appropriate facial hairs in whatever ways please her.

Hey, it's not like I use my face for anything.
I don't care if it's hairy or not.
: )

This is something I envy about men. They are so adaptable. :)

I like to have a little hair on my face, but i've never grown a full beard or anything like that. Just stubble and scruff. :)

It's mostly because every time I try to clean-shave my face, I butcher it... And plus I have a baby-face with no stubble or anything.

Beards, I like my beard - I like to go amish sometimes - lets not try and put people under a yoke of slavery for beards - which is tarded

I sort of like the neo-reformed too! but how do they get those little hollow places in it? I was down in Florida last summer and saw this dude with bells in his beard so he jingled when he walked. I was pretty impressed till I said hello to him and he said "NECK". I kinda looked down at my feet and then back up at him and he was still looking at me so I just walked in another direction.

This is not a thread about what "passed away on the cross" (the law did NOT pass away at the cross, but that is another discussion altogether). I am not claiming that one is doomed for not having a beard as a man. I just see no good reason not to have one. And one might trim his beard, or have it real short, that would be all right.

I see this issue as tied to what Paul spoke of in 1Cor.11 where he does lay quiet much stress on the respect for creation in what is sometimes in our day called "gender roles". For example in verse 14 he says that its a shame for a man to wear long hair but an honor for a woman to wear same.

Respect for the order of creation, for each and everyone's attitude toward authority and decency. That is what this issue is all about. So where did he get these ideas from? His own cultural bias? No! The law of God! In 1Cor.6:9 he goes sharp on the "effeminate". This includes men who do not respect their being created as men.

So, these men who want to follow the modern and "fashionable" ways of the world and always clean shave and even grow long hairs, looking like women in their face and head, I must say I don't understand in that wise.

UMMM Tribesman,

I can see at least one reason why a beard may not always be a good thing. Working around machinery for one. Getting things caught in a machine that does not belong there is NOT a pretty picture.
