There has been a progession, as there should be.
We all start from the same place and He will grow us as much as we will grow.
Chuck Swindoll was a great one for years, still is, Chuch however is not a full gospel ministry, so there is a place for that in the early growth of the believer.
Brian Fenimore of Plumbline ministries is one who I have been able to sit in teaching and receive impartation, he has a great deal of great teaching on You Tube and is well worth going to see if he is around, Plumblinem.com.
Curry Blake and the ministry of John G. Lake ministries was and still is a ministry He has guided me to that is bringing great positive results for healing , Holy Spirit manifestation, deams, etc.
Sunday morning service is 9 CDT, then worship, the a second service.
They noticed most churches services are aimed at the lowest common denominator thus they have the first service for the more spiritually mature, then worship, then the second service.
Holy Spirit manifests in and through me daily and frequently.
I ask for Divine encounters and He gives them, and we know what He does for one He will do for another as we grow to be conformed to the image of the Son.
Thank you for asking.
Bless you in Jesus name.

That's awesome! I never heard of these people, but glad that you have found Bible teachers that minister to you.

That is so important!

I like a bunch of Bible teachers as well, don't really put my trust in everything they say, but listen, and try learn from what they teach though.

To name a few....I like Joel Osteen for positive motivation, TD Jakes for spiritual encouragement, Doug Bachelor for Biblical instruction, Steve Harvey for basic life lessons, and Max Lucado has a few message that are worth listening to, for certain instances.

Who is your favorite?

The ones I mentioned teach how to experience God, the ones you mention seem to me to only speak about Him. We were all meant to experience God, from the first chapter of Genesis.
Jesus speaks of those at judgement who have done wonders in His name, yet He "knew them not", and were cast out because of this.
Most claim to be His yet only know about Him.
We have all had experiences where He has encountered us as He knocks on the door of our heart, we must not stop there, we are to go from these events to a lifestyle of walking with Him, in constant relationship and communication, praying without ceasing.
bless you

First it's light friendly discussions, than an invite to skype, than your walking down the aisle at church to say, I do.

It's a mirage designed to attract lizards, to keep the guards down. I've seen this before....

I'm glad you experienced God in your life, that is awesome!

What direction is HE taking in your life now? Anything in particular, or just generalities?

Valid point.

I never forget the naps that were part of school, think that was my favorite subject.. lol

I slept by the door, so only had one person next to me. Not sure why I remember that.

I always remember the rules my Bible teachers taught

When reading
Interrupting is not a good idea
Now is the time to sit still and listen
Space Invaders no way

Then there were the memory verses, that we would sing

John 3:16 and Romans 8:28

yea good times
we'd act out out the story
my favourite Bible teacher used puppets
and she'd always pray for me, she said she prayed for me everyday. (Im not sure if it was just me personally or she just included everyone in her prayers)

I mean, the adult ones everyone else saw on tv or in church services were never as fun as the Bible teachers in school

Tourist were you in the army or marines? Did you ever see combat or just served during peace time?
I was in the US Army. No, did not see combat but was involved in 3 major war exercises, which is preparation for going to war.

No dead bodies are left behind. The dead are carried away and transported to a place where ID is established and then shipped back to the USA for proper burial. Of course, the gathering of the dead is conducted after the hostilities cease. The injured are given initial treatment on the battlefield and then transported to the rear (safe area) where further necessary treatment is provided to stabilize the patient. The the patient is transported to a military hospital for further treatment if needed.

how long are hostilities meant to go on for though? Like what if battles drags on for months even years? I mean I dont know, never 'played war' so what it is like a rugby game or something where its over in 40 minutes?

do they not cremate the bodies what if you cant find them, and also, does the other side do the same for their dead? what about the people that get killed who are NOT fighting.

according to nz history site, 146 nz soldiers died on 25 April in Gallipoli, but overall 2779 nzers died in that campaign and the bodies were left there in umarked graves

the population on nz was small at the time and devastated everyone.
