As an owner of 5 yashmaghs, I really hate seeing them worn as a fashion accessory like a scarf. It makes them look so gay.
For example -
They look far greater worn properly, for example like Prince Hamdan
I was actually looking through my illustrated biography of Led Zep and came across a photo of Jimmy Page with a scarf, which inspired me to start this thread as I thought 'Wow, he can pull of a scarf!'

1) Scarves are for yuppies.
That's probably why Zaoman won't wear one.
2) Real men don't wear scarves! Or turtlenecks or cardigans (whatever those are).

I think it is kind of like men with shaved heads. Some guys look great with shaved heads, but it doesn't suit everyone. Some women may not care for it, but there are women out there that think it looks attractive! I personally like scarves on most guys. There have been a few that I thought didn't pull it off. If I find a guy that is what I want in every aspect, I think I can deal with his scarf or lack there of, lol.

If it's just for fashion's sake, I don't see the point. If it's to keep your neck warm in cool/cold weather (like I do - and I have a loooong neck), then I think there's nothing wrong with it. Either way, it's up to the individual guy. But skinny jeans are evil and they're dangerous if you want to have children one day.

It does look absurd in warm weather. I think it is even more absurd when people where they big knitted winter hats with shorts in the summer. Heat escapes your head, so wearing a hat when you are hot is just stupid. I used to be in marching band and during practice there was a girl who always complained about being too hot. She wore black shirts with black corduroy pants every day during summer. I tried to point this out to her, but she just got mad. Needless to say, this stopped after she collapsed from the heat one day. I hated that it happened to her, but what did she expect?

Expect it to replace all those Soul Armor & NOTW racks taking up the precious space in the Christian bookstore that could have had a whole nother display of Precious Moments figurines.
