Yes but, men don’t understand the need to make things out of wool, paper and glitter
do they. Lol
No they don't understand and I made 9 blankets last year three quilts out of cotton material and 6 crocheted blankets and the problem is I still have enough material and yarn to make at least 100+ more blankets. I guess I love material and yarn too such pretty patterns and lovely colors....

Best set up the sewing machine again and get out the crochet hooks I got some work to do.....to get rid of all that stuff and make new stuff in a different form other than material and yarn.....lol

Poor Tourist doesn't laugh about this as much as I do... I just have to keep my blinders on and walk a straight line when in a sewing store or craft store or material and yarn jump into my basket....

Tourist, honey, I went to the wedding and the couple were so happy and it reminded me of our wedding.... well not quite so grand but we were so happy too and in love just like they are and we still are...

Our wedding was splendid, even without Elvis.

That reminds me I have spoken to Elvis!

Long story, I had a client at work who changed his
name to Elvis Presley, he insisted on being called
Mr Presley!

Every time he called I had to put him on hold until I
stopped laughing. :D

You know how when you are on the phone, you say
erm, yes, ah etc so the other person knows you are
still listening.

Well I decided to try to get In “a ha ha” to see if he
noticed. So after that every time he called I was looking
for an opportunity to say it!

Then on the last conversation I finally managed to blurt
it out. My stomache ached with the effort of trying not to
laugh. I nearly wet myself laughing and he never noticed.

How can you call yourself Elvis Presley and not notice if
someone says “a ha ha, I’m all shuck up”. :D

Miri can be a bit naughty at times!

"The sound of your footsteps, telling me that you're near. Your soft, gentle motion babe, brings out a need in me that no one can hear.."
From "Midnight Confessions" by Grass Roots

A forum for the one secret confession that you do not want revealed
but are brave enough to admit for all to see.

My name is tourist and I have a serious nicotine addiction. I once told God that I wanted quit smoking. He did not answer my prayer as He knew that I was lying to him. Perhaps when I am serious he will deliver me from this self-imposed affliction, and other things as well that do not belong in my life.
i totally respect you for being so honest...if it's any help I struggled with it for years and then one day I heard in my spirit, " The devil wants you to smoke because he wants to kill you." This had a profound effect on me. God bless you x

I still want to quit but the struggle is real. God bless you for the support that you gave me.

I would like to confess that, when I was about 10 or 11 years old, I had a argument with one of my best friends and I got so mad, I kicked him in the (((bleeeep))) and he cried.

We laugh about it to this very day.

That is yet another reason why all females should be kept shoe-less and in the kitchen. ;-)

I read somewhere that happily married peeps live longer.

I believe that is true and that married men are happier than single men. (With due respect to those who are not married.)

Perhaps single peeps that are content with life live longer than single peeps that are lonely and searching for that special someone. Either way both singles seem to be behind on the longevity curve. I probably added 5 years to my life by getting remarried and would likely gain an additional 5 years if I quit smoking now. Ask not for whom the bell curves...

I like how you were careful with your words and didn’t say “single women”.

Well done.
