I seem to have an affinity for Lain. Not that I have any understanding of the language itself, but that songs sung in Latin are very pleasing to me, as opposed to songs sung in other foreign languages. The musical styling probably have a lot to do with that as well, for it is not like I am fond of any old Latin song 
Maybe it has something to do with being raised in a religious environment where the mass was performed in Latin I love music like this Paul Schwartz has made a few recordings along these lines, taking the arias from operas and/or traditional songs, and restyling them much as Richard Souther has done with Hildegard's music. This may precede his operatic restylings, some of which I will post later. This piece is sung by Lisbeth Scott
