I am asking with humility bc I have honestly been wondering all weekend as I said and I have questions. if I don't ask questions I won't understand and I keep sinning clearly you are not fit to help me with these questions but thanks anyway.

It's best to stay away...even if you can do it without lust. 1 Thessalonians 5:22
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

If you don't like the answers given. Maybe you shouldn't ask the questions. And do so like you are proud of a mighty achievement or something.

I thought my answer was perfect. God will not be mocked!

Masturbation, fornication and adultery go hand-in-hand with each other (excuse the pun!).

Most people do it with the help of something else, be it porn or a vibrating toy.

You were not made by God to give yourself pleasure with your own hand and/or a toy!

God created you for a bigger purpose than this!

God created you to be loved by a man.

To live a happy life free from all the things that the world has created.

Like masturbation.

God has given you all that you need for a happy life.

Anything else added to it is added to it by our own pure selfish reasons.

And everytime you do it, satan laughs and mocks you and accuses you before God.

God never created masturbation, I really don't think He wants anyone to do it either. You don't have to be a Christian to know that it is wrong and shameful.

If it wasn't so, why do 99.99% of people that do it end up feeling dirty, rotten and filthy afterwards? Even non-Christians.

You can think that you don't need any porn or dirty thoughts to masturbate but eventually it will break through and you will end up seeking bigger and bigger ways to get your "kick" from it. How did you even start doing it in the first place?

The world likes to make people think that is perfectly "natural" and there's "nothing wrong with it".

Nonsense!! Most serial killers and those that went to the chair started by masturbating outside of girls dorms.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this to be spiteful for the sake of being spiteful.

You can't go around saying, oh I like to masturbate but dont use porn or think any adulterous thoughts and expect someone to go, oh well done, shake my hand, have a medal.

You shouldn't be doing it end of.

But my question is without porn. I have masturbated in the past without fantasy or porn just a purely physical act.
Perhaps it is about one's own personal spiritual purity, that old adage "cleanliness is next to Godliness"

I stopped reading your post a line in. Because it is judgemental and couldn't be further from the truth of my intentions.

Well there's your problem right there. You only see and hear what you want to see and hear and not the truth.

As for your intentions, they are all your selfish and greedy intentions for yourself and not for Christ.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Just to clarify my last post was in response to this. Attacking is unnecessary and far from loving or Christian like. I would suggest more heart instead of judgements if you want to be heard.

Sister. I am not attacking you! This is the truth.

For some people, the truth is a bitter pill to swallow!

I am only saying it for your own good. Not for myself!

Because you're hateful and judgemental about It. I have no problem hearing the truth from posters who can post with sensitivity and respect I came here because I was heavily depressed and looking for support. Now I see the mistake I made. Have a good day.

Well if you're so depressed. Maybe you should stop masturbating.

There was nothing hateful.

I posted that out of love.

Is this the army that God is raising to do His mighty works?

An army of masturbators??

Where is the blessing in that?

What is blessed about a man or a woman that commits a selfish act where they are thinking about theirself and not someone else? Where they are thinking about theirself and not Christ?

Doesn't God want us to keep our hearts and minds on Him?

Does God want people to fall into the trap that satan has set that says its okay and alright to do such a thing?

It is a disgusting, perverse, barbaric act of selfishness.

There is nothing blessed in the act of masturbation.

It is a purely selfish act. You turn your back on God to do you your OWN thing.

It doesn't matter if you are not thinking adulterous thoughts or not watching porniea at the time.

It doesn't matter. Because it is something that YOU want to do and not what God wants you to do.

Is it something that you can share with your neighbors?

Do you not draw your curtains closed when you do it?

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Eph 5:3 (NIV) But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.

Rom 14:12-13 (NIV) So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling-block or obstacle in your brother's way.

1Th 4:2-8 (NIV) For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God... For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

Ro 6:13 (NIV) Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.

What were the answers you expected? Biblical?

As for a relief, many persons knew it as if "that´s not enough".

"Clinically" I have read reports on people who "felt" any better and DOPAMINE plays its role on it...

"Observers" have seen that mental "ill" people used it to find some emotional relief.

I see what you're saying. Yeah, it's still bad. It's still sexual activity outside of how God designed.

You're gonna have to grow a thicker skin. There will be anyone from hand-holding kumbaya-ers to bone-crushing shamers everywhere you go. Ask anyway, be prepared for whatever comes your way, and don't take anything personally.

Shinesobright,

This topic comes up often, with many threads being written about it. At the top of the page you will find a "search box"--you might want to do some searches regarding the topics and questions you're wondering about--you'll probably find several threads with information that might be helpful.

Also, for personal subjects such as this, you may also want to ask in the Ladies' (Only) Forum. The women there tend to be very understanding and willing to answer any kind of question you may have. I tend to do more reading than posting in that forum because you'll find so many wiser, older women who have a great deal of life experience and good advice, and it's all from a woman's point of view, of course, which seems to be something you may be seeking as well.

Welcome to CC and God bless!

May I ask: "What´s Godly design?" Marriage? To avoid the "evil" desires?

2014 years ago Jesus called them adulteres: Those who were married and lustfully wanted some else (Mar 8:38 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mat_12:39; Mat_16:4 ).

I divorced once.

I have seen others who endured legal divorce twice, like one of my brothers, and I have seen others who have fled or were left by those they said they loved their spouses.

I prayed before being married, my ex wife prayed prior to marry me (a sinner). Many people prayed and yet, the end result is divorce and it seems to prevails: It doesn´t matter it be called legal or ilegal, emotional or "spiritual" and, as long as people are not completely "asexual" (another lie invented) something is needed to be sorted out to stopt that human want.

I agree with you and I don't..

You see if a man is grounded in GOD! it won't matter what other's says he is, it will only matter what God says.
Thats the kind of man I mean.. where are they?
and I don't mean the kind of man who does what he wants, lives in the world and loves the worlds things I mean a man who loves righteousness and desires to walk in it and does..even if he stumbles or has weaknesses will go to God with a repentant and teachable heart.. will be accountable to his church family and friends knowing we all are weak without Jesus and need eachother to walk upright and who will stand for what's right no matter who says differently

that being said.. if a man believes he is a worthless sinner even after coming to Christ..then Christ's death means nothing to him so it's about his own faith and beliefs and not so much what others say around him
But, therein lies a big problem. Much of the church continues to tell all of us that we are worthless sinners, male and female. We even sing hymns about being in such a state. And some ignorant shepherds insist on telling us God is angry with us if we sin, and even go so far as to say we fall out of fellowship with him, and have to jump through religious hoops to get Him to "almost" like us again..... for awhile, till we sin the next time, and then He turns angry against us again.

No wonder people get confused, and think they are worthless, if even their creator supposedly hates them.
