In God's eyes, you're perfect! That's all that matters. Lettuce aside, there's a myriad of things you can eat, if you need any suggestions, I'm happy to help. Blessings.
Thanks Laura. I have thick blood so anything with vitamin K is bad for me and the kidney stones are also a prob. with oxalates. It is like my body was not designed to eat from the bottom of the food pyramid. No eggs, no lactose, no berries, no greens and yet I have no problem with wheat.
I was once at a restaurant with a friend who ordered gluten free. I looked at the waitress and said I'd have her gluten. The waitress almost passed out. She lectured me on the horror of gluten. I asked her what she thought it was. She didn't know but she thought it was being banned in Canada. Wow.
I do appreciate the kind words.

If it is green it generally hates me. I am probably one of the few people you will meet who is allergic to lettuce. It gives me migraines and kidney stones and the vitamin K could be deadly. Most greens do the same thing. I am an unrepentant carnivore so holidays are usually safe but it does get tiring getting the raised eyebrows about not eating the "healthy" choices.
I guess I'm just lower on the evolutionary scale, so to speak LOL
I am the same way. But, with me, I just don't like the taste of most green things.

Oh gosh...my mom used to cook beef tongue. At first I didn't know what it was, then I asked her... I shouldn't have asked! lol.

For holiday food, I'll skip the butter farts. Tarts! Butter tarts.

I'll skip zucchini as well; I used to enjoy it, until it started giving me quite vicious nausea.

Most other things I'll eat, as long as they don't contain too many lab-created compounds. Anything with an eight-syllable name probably shouldn't be considered for human consumption. (Msg, anyone?)

Regarding "calamari", I've had it a few times, but the idea of chewing on deep-fried garden hose just doesn't appeal much to me.

I'm allergic to scallops too, and I found out because I ate a whole bunch because they were delicious! :( Same thing happened when I ate lobster for the first time... :(

And everyone can just give their fried calamari to me! :D
