Hi Sweet Eyes... great idea for a thread :).

I, unfortunately... have a very long list (waits for it to unroll), but I would have to say... I'd like a guy who gets my sense of humor and actually thinks I"m funny. :) And ideally... he would make me laugh just as much in return (but also be able to talk about the serious, responsible matters of life when needed.)

Strictly talking "talent" - I'll say sing too. But not in that show-choir-glee-club-let-me-sing-for-you-constantly-because-everyone-in-the-free-world-loves-the-sound-of-my-melodious-magnificent-marvelous-voice way... I was a music major, so believe me, I've met a few of those...

Ideally, in my ideal fantasy world, I want him to be part of the folk band I dream of starting...

And be able to color fuzzy pictures with you... while you both fiddle... and tune your oboes 30 yards... a match made in heaven!

UH OH. If I get an eye roll I KNOW I'm in trouble.

I want a man who can protect me from MusicalMe's Look of Shame...

Just out of curiosity, let's see if anyone else gets the joke:

Q: What is perfect pitch for an oboe?

A: About 30 yards

Lol, are you talking about throwing the oboe 30 yards?

Oh I know... I figured she plays football and the oboe at the same time :). But alas, instead of being humorous... it just makes me look musically illiterate! :)

Hmm, maybe the oboe could work as a sort of javelin...it could be a new sport... :)

I have a long list, too. I don't want to marry somebody who's not my mould, but of course, I won't restrict my choices. I leave it up to God.

Some of my wishes, however (gee! we all have our preferences):

***HE MUST BE A CHRISTIAN/I must be able to see him and I working with each other to become closer to CHRIST***

1) Christian
2) singer
3) dancer
4) same sense of humour (I get his jokes, he gets mine)
5) loyalty, dedication, responsible, respect

1) and 5) aren't really talents aye. Ahahaha...

I want someone who is active with me, too; and can withstand being apart for periods of time while keeping our love strong. I don't mind if he's busy and I'm busy with our respective careers - it'd be nice if our careers complimented one another though.

OH! And someone who can share the typecasted female house roles with me. I really don't want to do ALL the cleaning and cooking. I actually hope we can do a lot of things together when we can.

It would be great if my husband could sing, and dance well enough to teach me a few steps.
