People think I'm weird because I don't like to leave my cellphone on all the time. I have even had some guys get angry with me over this. I like to leave it off most of the time and check it periodically, then return calls. I really don't see how this is a bad thing. Was it rude before we had cellphones to not return calls until we arrived at home and found them on our answering machines? I don't get it.
I've been in Missouri at a family reunion the past couple of days. My brother (someone who had complained about this to me) heard for himself how often it will ring if I leave it on all the time. He said, "Wow! You really have no peace if you leave it on, do you? I understand now."

When I was a kid I once surprised 2 girls because they found out I didn't like pretzels. They acted like it was the weirdest thing ever to meet someone who doesn't like pretzels. 
To me they taste like overcooked and dried out factory reject crackers that got stuck on the side of the conveyor belt and received too much heat and salt but missed the seasonings, lol.
