Hey Guys,

I also posted this in the prayer forum, but thought you guys were familiar with him here too and might not see the other post. I just got a call from Ugly and he asked me to post a prayer request for/about him. He just got a call from the hospital that they have a kidney donor for him. He's preparing to go in tonight for tests to be sure he's physically okay for surgery/transplant, then if everything is okay, he'll be in surgery in the morning. Thank you so much!

Dear Lord, I pray for ugly to receive. a kidney, you are God, you do all things for your purpose, make this work out for ugly, and, Thy will be done, Lord God, in Jesus' name, amen.

God bless you, ugly, His blessings are true, whatever we do, we are to do it all for the glory of God. :)

Thanks Green :) This call means they have a kidney for him, he's been waiting for over 2 years. Next, the surgery. We're hoping for him to be healthy enough for surgery, for the surgery to be successful, and for him not to reject the kidney.

The Lord leads, ugly is a smart guy of God, I pray others pray prayers, too, the Lord hears, the Lord answers prayers. Halelujah. Glory to Him in the highest, may His hand be on ugly now, helping him see God's 'great' will for his life.

Thank you for the praise report, marce, and in that report is much prayer needed, too. God's will will be done but He loves it when we lift up our prayers to Him :)

Post Surgery Update:

He went t hrough the surgery well, and the kidney looks good, according to the doc. He's in ICU now, that's standard for a surgery like this. He should be in the hospital for 10 days, but I know he has his laptop with him, so you may hear from him in a few days. Thank you all for your prayers, and above all, thank you Lord for your blessings and healing for our brother in the Messiah!

hi guys
its THE UGLY
24 hours after the transplant. I am out of ICU already. Docs says everything is going well, and everything is looking very positive for there to be no complications. Not out of the woods yet. But headed in he right direction.
Fortunately the '10 day or morei told Marcella was outdated information. With modern medicine its down to 4-5 days. They say if i do well i will hopefully be released by Xmas Eve.

Thanks to all of your for your prayers and kind words. As i read them i was affected much more deeply by them than i anticipated. It meant a lot to me and helped left my spirits more.

Another quick praise report stemming from this is that i had a screaming match, literally, with my brother a few months ago and we haven't spoken since. But when i got the call to come to the hospital at 2am here showed up at the hospital and stayed the night til i entered surgery. My dad brought me, so with him, bro and bro's wife i had a nice support beforehand. Also, its the most i've talked to my brother since the argument, so maybe some reconcilliantion there. Also, my estranged nutjob sister called and was in tears of joy.

OK, think that's all for now. But please continute praying as the next few days they will be pushing mee to move around etc. Also that things keep going in the right direction. Thanks again to you all, and thanks to Marcella for the posts.

Thanks so much for the updates, Sir Ly. (I don't like calling you Ugly so I figure, if the first name is Ug, then the last name would be Ly. :)) Wonderful news!!!

Please keep us updated and we will continue to pray for a timely and complete recovery (in more ways than one... both medical and family issues.)
