...... Jeff, please understand that in this forum, we try to have respectful, meaningful conversations and not just wild rants. I have asked you this before. Please read through the other posts to get the feel of the discussion before assuming and going off on a tangent.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a waterslide to coast down...
the title and the op is what i posted in reply to. if you have seen the news nationwide the last ten years or so, about washington , tx, you might understand a little more that it is not money that will lead to any cure. (greed has made it illegal for doctors in the usa to tell people about all the known cures for disease, used well before 1960).

yes, yet, in washington , tx, on nationwide news broadcasts , a simple, God-given way of being more healthy has happened right under everyone's noses (everyone who has either a television, or internet access with youtube functions) .....

p.s.

i went back and checked the op, and the title, and there was nothing there about adoption, but several things about money and sickness. there are over 10,000 books available exposing the fraud in the usa by the phrmk, the ama, and the fda, and
why they don't do what is best most of the time. almost everything about health that can be known and proven is testable, and usable, and costs pennies on the dollar , even pennies on the thousand dollars!!! and all you have to do is be not a minor, and be able to read and be able to search (seek, and keep on seeking Jesus says, and you will find- that's HIS PROMISE, not mine or any other man's, and JESUS does not lie.)

over 100,000 doctors in the usa can easily cure type II diabetes 95% OF THE time without medicine. They do this slowly, with testing all along, so everything remains within healthy limits (changing or stopping a drug suddenly or too fast can cause more problems than it solves, so stay under the / a doctors care who knows what he is doing).

yes. a lot of posters trust man / men/ instead of God. some trust God (thankfully- some poster in this thread even - i went back and re-read the thread briefly; as Scripture says, seek and trust God..... do all things by faith, including seeking or continuing to use any man-made treatments; if you do this by faith, I can't see how anyone can judge it wrong.)

The statement is heartbreaking, but we must never give up praying. Jesus didn't just save the world through His prayers alone. Its just a balance between faith and reality.

By faith, if you believe you are able to do extra ordinary things. What is important is for someone who ministers "prayer"for the sick to discern and know what they are able to do in the spirit realm. That is why some people are able to administer healing of some sicknesses while other are not able to do the same.

Its like knowing your special area that you function in. I sometimes read biographies of some of the late servants of God, and what I draw form their biographies is what they were able to do. What inspires me is that they never did anything if they did not feel the need to. So in a nutshell, I would rather have that feeling inside that compels me to do something.

John Alexander Dowie 1847 - 1907
"My tears were wiped away, my heart was strong, I saw the way of healing…I said, “God help me now to preach the Word to all the dying around, and tell them how ‘this Satan still defiles, and Jesus still delivers, for He is just the same today.”

1 John 2:27 "But the anointing which you have received from him abides in you........the same anointing teaches you concerning all things and is true, not a lie.......".

Whatever the feeling that is from inside, I always ask myself why the feeling comes, but ironically with that feeling there is a sense of calmness.

Most importantly, the church needs money to function and carry out its objectives..

This thread reminds me of an old joke. (Denomination names changed because I don't like dissing a church.)

If you ask (a certain denomination) pastor for prayer he'll say "Here's $50." If you ask (a certain other denomination) pastor for $50 he'll say "Let's pray."

This is a totally blind post, but I think two of the primary purposes for prayer are to invest in our relationship with God and to acknowledge and admit our desperate need for Him, so I believe that we need to be in prayer about all things regardless of whether or not we can do anything further about them. "Pray continually," as the verse says. I do a really poor job of this myself, but I've found that the times that I feel nearest to God are when I'm praying the most.

But with that said, I do think that it would be lazy only to ask God to help someone that we are fully capable of helping in some way and then do nothing else. The prayer is important, but when God gives us an opportunity to meet a need, we should be ready. I've had a few events happen over the past couple of weeks that have really convicted me on this.

For some reason I'm reminded of a farmer who was sitting on his front porch rocking one day. Someone asked him what he was doing just sitting there. He said, "Well, I was gonna wash my truck but a rainstorm came along and washed it. Then I was gonna tear the old barn down, but lightning struck it and it all burned down to the ground. So now I'm just sitting here waiting for an earthquake to come along and shake the taters out of the ground."
