I own a few pair of heels, and once in a while I'll want to wear them with an outfit that they match really well, but I can never seem to get out the door in them because I just feel very pretentious in heels.

What sorts of things do you find pretentious pertaining to yourself or to others?

(Keep it polite!)

A lot of things, but I try not to think about it when it comes to others. I usually avoid doing it if it's something I personally find pretentious.

I'll probably be hated by some for posting this, but why do some guys jack their trucks like this? Is it just a male ego thing or what? I know some guys go 4-wheeling but I suspect that most of these trucks never see anything steeper than a driveway...

I find it pretentious when people misuse the word "literally". The meaning of this word is so simple, you literally have to go out of your way to misuse it, literally.

Also, what is with black wheels? Why does it seem like every other guy under 30 paints his wheels black or has black wheels?

It doesn't make you look cool... It doesn't make your car look hot... It makes you look like you're riding on donut spares! :p

Because they have way too much money.

That truck off the showroom would have cost about $55,000. Add about $5,000 for the 22 inch aluminum wheels, adapters and tires that were made for a tractor trailor, another couple of grand for the lift kit (of course the factory warranty is instantly voided). With the oversize tires he would have needed to change the differential gear ratio costing another $1500 or so.

That jacked up truck is a very careless way to be driving on the road.

If it hits another vehicle by accident, it will slam into their window, not the side of the car, most likely causing massive head trauma for that person. :(

Yea there was an off duty cop who was decapitated in a collision with one of those trucks a few years ago.

If I had that much money I would much rather buy a slightly used Porsche Cayman S or C7 Corvette..
