I'd go back to my first year in college. I wouldn't let my boyfriend distract me from my studies. I'd be long graduated by now. There's plenty of time for boys after graduation.

I would go back to last night when I ate those bean burritos. Yikes.
So, to set the record straight Amber, if you could go back, would you or wouldn't you have eaten the bean burritos? (Or maybe just not as many?) :D

I've had some meals where it's like, "Yeah... the results were not pretty... but it was SO worth it!!" :p

persecuted, there are times when I want to strangle you and times when I really think you need a hug. ;) Praying for you, Brother...seriously. :) Don't give up just yet. God truly is able, but we have to get out of the way.
Sorry, I'll try harder in the future to stay on the "I wanna strangle him" side.

If you could press a button and rewind to a certain place in your life, what age would you be and why did you pick that particular place/time?
If I went back to a favorite place in time (before I was saved) I'd be a sinful mess all over again, because my thoughts for coming back to that place in time would lead me right back to the lowest place in my life.

If I went back to that place time when I was born of the Spirit, I would do all the things I did for good because of Christ's work in me. Either way...,I would go back to the things I did. And since I am born of the Spirit, I would not want to that place in time when I believed Truth could not see.

And since I've come all this way, being taught things I never knew existed, I would not want to go back because the people I gave witness to would not be there because they have moved ahead in their new found faith in Christ.

I thought about going back sometime ago, and the Spirit revealed what that means. I chose to never walk with that temptation again. I was shown the meaning of "put your hands on the plow, and do not look back."

I do appreciate your mentioning this. It reminds me of what Jesus did for me.

We all need to keep this in mind daily, huh? :)

I'm sorry, you shouldn't be using these big words if you hope for me to understand you.... is a "garrote" some sort of a land varmint? In these parts we have "coyotes" but definitely not this more exotic form of critter you apparently have.

A garrote is an assassin's weapon used to strangle people. Used a lot in France and Spain long ago. Very unpleasant. I do have a couple of dogs I could send though... :)

Oh, so what you're saying is a garrote is a coyote you keep in your garrage. Gotcha.

I actually have a couple of coyotes in the woods not far from my house. Feel free to stop by. :) They're really friendly. You can pet 'em if you want. :)

Back to primary school playing in the big field (no longer there) with the only kids who liked me, the only time in my life I didn't feel akward in one way or another.

To be a child again......I try, but it's just not the same! :D

I was thinking about that this morning. I would go back to the beginning of my senior year of high school, right when I became a Christian. I would get ready for college better and start it off right, not worry so much, and enjoy it more. I would also get plugged into a solid church sooner.

I would go back to exactly this date last year. My brother would have been alive and I would have payed less attention to college and work and I would have spent so much more time with him. I wish there was a time machine to actually be able to do this. :)

I'm going to be odd man out. I like being the age I am. I am more confident, feel the most attractive, most secure in who I am, feel the most secure in knowing what God wants me to do with my life than ever before.

I'm happiest at this age then I ever have been.

I agree, because now I know who I am (which I did not then) I am free to be religious and have my faith (which was not with atheist parents as young child)
Just those two things mean so much.

Also I was really depressed as a child.A total outsider.Did not fit in anywhere (still dont) but atleast know who I am now and have God etc....

I wouldnt mind being there for me as in the adult me comforting, healing the child me and just "being there" saying I understand, Im here.....things will get better...

But humble my soul we learn from experiences and even long suffering we can understand others better also.

I would "mother myself" as in understand, listen, encourage, support, listen, see, care, love cause I did not feel that..
I would guide me into good positive things with love and care and not such destructive things (although it is a experience) (humble my soul)
I would be who I am and be confident in that and not the person I somehow became but who i truly am.
I would reach out to people, try communicate....

But I would not want to go through that again.
i really really had horrible feelings ....

Sorry, Sarah. :) I don't know which has been more fun today, the high fever or the meds. :)

Seriously though, I lost a big brother a few months ago, so I feel your heart. Big hugs to you.
