Hi everyone. I did not want to derail seoulsearch's thread about unrealistic fantasies so I created this thread. I just want to know what are the things that men and women think as romantic in the real world. Here are some examples and it's surprising to know how different men and women are when it comes to romance.
Top seven things women think are romantic
-love notes
-music mixes
-flowers
-surprise picnics
-cuddling
-dancing under the stars
-shopping together
Top seven things men think are romantic
-seats on the 50-yard line
-a 1966 Mustang
-an Xbox 360
-powertools with a bow or ribbon
-sex (bow or ribbon optiona)
-baked goods
-silence
I think this list is biased. A mustang? Seriously? I really thought men are easy to please. I did'nt think they are high maintenance.

I've also never known any man that thought of these men's list ideas as romantic either.
Mother first 5 things on the 'women's' side I have done for women. I have also been shopping with a woman, nothing romantic about it on either side, even with a gf.
Typically it could be more accurate to say involving yourself in your mates activities from time to time, especially if they are not of interest to you, would be more romantically fitting. And then it's not the specific activity so much as it is a person being open and willing to share in their mates interests. Have to say this list feels full of presumption based and gender misunderstanding than anything factual.
