How about start out with a since, "I'm sorry...." Give her time to think about it; then send flowers.. her favorite.
There is no sorry to be said. I didn't do anything wrong except marry the wrong person and she didn't do anything wrong except marry the wrong person....ironically enough.....based on a biased expectation of a "traditional" marriage. The only person that should be on a married person throne is Jesus. This is the thing often missing in a "traditional" marriage and it ends up as a one up/one down arrangement.

I understand your concern. I am celibate and intend to stay that way. Please don't make this thread about me. It was not intended to be. It was intended to illustrate the absurdity of waxing nostalgic about a biased perception of a "traditional" husband and wife relationship.
Marriage is not absurd. See now I know this next sentence sound harsh, but tis not meant so. You're not celibate, you're no virgin, elsewise you'd know your OP is what every virgin that wants to be married desires. You were married the first time you entered the woman (1 Corinthians 6:16.) There ain't nothing wrong with that either so long as the two stay as one. I hope you'll get your wife back Sir Sirk. I will keep silently praying for you to get her back and for her love to return to you in fullness. Mine carnal parents divorced each other before I was born and then got back together. Nothing is impossible with love and God.

It ain't gonna happen....it would be putting my son in harms way and I ain't about to do that. You have no idea what you are talking about and you can honestly keep your advice to yourself. I don't want it... I didn't ask for it...and if you do it again you're gonna get a harsher response than what you got here....kapish?

Why couldn't you just pm that to Sirk? Why do you have to derail his thread and continue to publicly judge and ridicule him with your self-righteous responses? Go sit in the Time Out chair.

Apparently Godissalvation doesn't know that celibate means NOT having sex, whether you're a virgin or not. :/

I hate it when a good thread gets ruined by an agenda.

Good intentions (maybe), bad execution.

Brush it off, The Sirk. You're a good guy.

Thank you. I am honestly sort of hurt by what he said to me. I realize his intention was probably to help but it wasn't helpful at all.
Personally, I thought his comment was pretty ignorant.. :/

Sorry Kris.
You can turn your thread around into something fun again.

BTW, I do have one question?
I don't understand what "kapish" means? Can you drop some knowledge, yo?

Is it self-righteous to tell a married man not to advertise for infidelity? Is it self-righteous to stand up for what the Bible says about marriage?

Many of you rise up against me when I show you what the Bible says. Yea, I forgive you for you are not speaking against me. Will the married now be given authority to exile the truly Single according to the Bible from the Christian Singles Sections?

I believe that kapish is some sort of Polish pastry.

He's NOT advertising for infidelity. That's ludicrous to even suggest. He has stated more than once that he's NOT having sex, nor does he plan to.. Sirk meant for this to be a light-hearted thread. Let's keep it that way, ok?
