All of those options were important. I voted for everything except for sharing. Sharing a sandwich?

Knowing what goes with what is probably the most important, especially as a reforming picky eater. I have no idea what flavors go with what. This is part of why I stopped going to Subway and prefer Jimmy John’s. Also, it seems to take a minimum of 20 minutes even if I am the only one in line.

As someone doing keto, knowing how to present the parts of the sandwich in a deconstructed way is helpful. Jimmy John’s does an Unwich, which is just the guts of the sandwich without the bread. It’s underwhelming.

Nice. Bread is my kryptonite.

If you can make sandwich that makes people stop chewing, turn their head with the eyes that say 'wow.. this is SO GOOD!' - then you can call yourself expert. It's easy to make but hard to master.

I think if you add a slice of cheese and fold it in half it counts as a snack-samich... ;)

* What do YOU think is needed to be an "expert sandwich maker"?

You can't just be a sandwich maker, you must be a sandwich artist. Every little delicate detail perfected with the respect a sandwich deserves. An expert walks the fine line of greatness with a steady hand, as the slightest misuse of quantity or spread could throw the entire integrity of the sandwich into question. It's said that nobody can just become an expert sandwich artist, though. It's something you're born with, a skill molded throughout the years until each artist realizes their potential and creates destiny-fulfilling magic between two slices of heavenly bread.

Do you have to be a natural? Like holding a purse?

Hmm.

That sounds like an idea for the next poll...

"Would Men Be More Willing to Hold a Woman's Purse if She Told Him It's Concealing a Sandwich?"

Afraid so. I don't make the rules.

That's a dangerous game. The next thing you know, you come back to your boyfriend covered in crumbs & your purse nowhere in sight.

So are you saying that a man holding a purse that contained a sandwich... wouldn't be able to resist eating the purse, too???

I sure hope it's not an expensive purse.

I will say this. One of my absolute favorites is
grilled cheese with pastrami and tomatoes.
and of course fresh oregano.

Depends on the type of sandwich imo. If it’s a porker, that purse would be gone pretty quick.

The person in that .gif is not eating a REAL sandwich. She is eating a product of a fast food factory's assembly line. Using that picture in a sandwich thread is like using a picture of a Matchbox (tm) car in a thread about real cars.
