I just spent an extra half hour on the clock, cleaning up someone else's mess. And another half hour in my future paycheck because I didn't get a break today. Yay for other people's mistakes!

The mess was because of a misunderstanding and I (politely) made sure the person who made the mess knows what he needs to know about how to avoid it in the future, and the scheduling conflict that led to me not getting a break is not in any way my fault, so my conscience is clean. And my check is a bit fatter.
That is what it is all about, brother.

So my 19 year old Nephew now has a girlfriend, his first. I'm happy for him, but I also keep thinking, please don't get your heartbroken.

Roh_Chris, I just like the pic :p I never really watched the show previously because of a lot of inappropriate humor I saw on the first episode alone.
Oooooh yeah...the first one is one of the worst (I guess there's supposed to be one even worse than it called "The Robotic Manipulation" I believe). Someone told me that they tone it down later on, and they do. But I still only watch it occasionally...you can only handle so much social awkwardness at once. Especially if you can relate with it in a way... >.>

ANYWAYS. Yeah. I'll watch it when I'm bored. It's overall not too bad.

Women what is with the almost knee high leather boots? You're not trudging through two feet of snow, and you're not Han Solo flying your ship through the Empire's blockade.
Because they know what da Shour likes. And da ZT, it seems.

I agree and disagree. If you are a superhero, male or female, long boots look pretty good...

but if you are not a superhero...

...they just look ridiculous.

Tonight's Transit Thought:

'Hmm. That guy has a tear tattooed on the corner of his eye. I think that means he killed someone. Hm. I kinda wanna ask. Arwen! You can't just ask a person if they killed someone! But really? Why not? If it's an advertisement... Why is it not social acceptable to ask if they killed someone? Who's rights am I treading on? Must I be polite about it?'

Yes that's what its supposed to mean. You can ask him, just like you can ask a demon what he had for lunch today. o_0

On one side stands the crowd. Jeering. Baiting. Demanding.
On the other stands a peasant. Swollen lips. Lumpy eye. Lofty promise.
One promises acceptance, the other a cross.
One offers flesh and flash, the other offers faith.
The crowd challenges, "Follow us and fit in."
They promise to please.
God promises to save.
God looks at you and asks...
"Which will be your choice?"

Tomorrow morning I have to write some sort of entrance test for a few hours for college. I have to pay for it. Pay to wake up early to take a test, so I can go to school to pay more money. OK. Whatever. You guys get to read whatever jibberish comes out of my brain at 9am.

I've seen a little of Revenge - Season 1, it didn't reel me in. As for Once Upon A Time? I enjoyed the series but the first third or so of season three was not good! (or whatever part was the Peter Pan arc). What angers you so much about the show?

Oh I heard that the tear was a symbol that a gang member murdered someone, or if they were in prison. I don't know how I came to know this.

if you are dealing with someone with a teardrop tattoo on his face i suspect that you should know him VERY well before asking, and even then ask cautiously and politely.

It can mean that, but keep in mind anyone can get one. The very act of having one may not automatically refer to those things.

hmmm

our customers don't want to order stuff online.... I'd have thought that was a better thing than having to call us every month...
but nooo.... they want to call, and the complain if they have to wait for five minutes before getting through
