Does anyone else have random lines from movies, shows or books randomly run through their mind? I am trying to sleep and I have Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet line:

"Why then, O brawling love! O loving hate!
O any thing, of nothing first created;
O heavy lightness! serious vanity!
Mis-shapen chaos of well-seeming forms!"

(Sorry for the triple post!)

I went to my Wednesday night Bible study and the host had made brownies. Ghirardelli brownies with Ghirardelli chocolate pieces in them. I had two. The first one was heaven, then I took one home to eat, and it was too much, and now I feel miserable and my head feels funny.
Good to do things like this

My brother played the violin for most of his childhood. The first few years, he sounded like a dying cat, followed by a year or so of "hey, he's not that bad". This was followed by a couple months of "okay, he's pretty good", but literally two weeks after after he reached the point where I genuinely thought "wow. I could listen to him play non-stop!", he switched instruments and never picked up the violin again. Don't get me wrong, he is absolutely amazing on the instruments he plays now, but I was annoyed that after years of aural torture, I did not get to enjoy the gorgeous sounds he had just barely begun to produce.

Fast forward to now. I need to relearn the violin for school. I just got done messing around with my brother's fiddle for the past hour, and he just barged in here and asked what that horrible noise was.

I smiled and said, "revenge". :)

Finally watched Men in Black 3 last night and was laughing my buns off. But I couldn't help but feel old when I saw Tommy Lee Jones' wrinkles and Will Smith's aging on screen presence. I have to hand to the film makers for providing a decent sequel to... the sequel. For a woman in years beyond my own, I find Emma Thompson quite exquisite as an actress.

I don't have instagram...because I don't have a smartphone. But I look at pictures on Instagram from bands/artists and friends ALL the time. But I can't view the videos. They always go black. Same with Vine....I can't see videos on there anymore, either. Makes me wonder if I actually have to have a smart phone to look at some of that stuff. Wasn't like that at first. =\

I'm useless to 90% of Christianity. Nobody wants an intellectual answer to their questions. Just something that makes them feel good. Of course, I also get the feeling most people don't even know what they want.

Will Love conquer the violin?

Will Fenner ever find her violin?

Will Shakespeare stop tormenting Arwen in her sleep?

Did bad brownies inspire Lil to go gay-bashing?

I gotta keep tuned in!!!!

I don't have a whole lot of "bad days". I have hard times, I face challenges, things go wrong, I break stuff, I walk into things, my kids yell, I lose stuff, people can be mean...but just having a few of those things happen to me in one 24-hour period doesn't generally cause me to feel like I'm having a bad day. I'm an annoying optimist. I react strangely to a lot of things others feel are truly bad things. Sometimes I feel sad or angry about stuff for a little while, and then the sunshine peeks around the cloud and is all like, "Hey...cheer up, ain't no big thang" (I don't know why the sunshine talks like that to me, he's so weird).

I bounce back. Quickly, even. Sometimes people think I just don't care about things because I don't wallow or think on it too long. I'm not saying others are wrong for how they feel about stuff, or that my attitude is better or anything...it's just...how I be.

Today is a bad day. And nothing even happened today that's so bad, really, except that I had a bad night, and couldn't just sleep it off, so to speak. My mom always used to tell me things would look better on the other side of a good night's sleep. Well, so far, it just doesn't look better.

Maybe I didn't have a good enough sleep.

Maybe I'm over-thinking things for once.

All I really know is that I need to change my attitude pretty darn quick or the day isn't going to improve. I should bake something. Or find a rock to paint.

Just two short days until my tiny little house turns into a zoo. This will either be chaotic-fun, or chaotic-lock-me-up-in-a-padded-cell...

Either way, it will be an experience I only intend to have once.

I love the chaotic-fun stuff to be honest. Like going on short term mission trips where your schedule's packed for the day. Or traveling to a new place.

I wanna travel SO MUCH when I get outta high school. I can't decide if I want to visit Texas or Pennsylvania (specifically Hershey, Pennsylvania. Where the chocolate is) first. Maybe Pennsylvania since it's MUCH nearer. And it has chocolate. lol

I have a pretty German Shorthair / american staffordshire terrier that can be loaned to go in one of the zoo cages for mizzcris if she wants any cool domestic animals for others to gaze at :D

LOL, at catherdingmusicman's stuff.

A quote for arwenbagggins, I did a post on this already but it's on my mind, even though I might not have it perfect but it's from 'We Bought A Zoo.' : It only takes 20 seconds to be courageous .

This is how the mister in the movie met his mrs and he told his kids the story of just how in the end, very cute, touching scene , you can youtube it too : zoo courageous will prob do'er .

My dog is still not been given info on her x-rays but she's been walking well lately, I can't notice any limp anymore, it went on for two days , and, took her to vet and she was hobbling after 24 hours. Then for a day later hobbling but then she got better rather quickly. Wants to run now but I am keeping her under watch and leash for at least another 2-3 weeks, or, at least, until I find out if it was a muscle tear or ligament from the doc . The Lord leads. I appreciate all your prayers on this, I am just thankful that she is walking better now, we'll pray for the best, see the result, and, go from there, with God :)

"Are we there yet, mommy?"

"Mommy, I need [fill in blank.]"

"Look at that, Mommy!"

and the list goes on... ;)
