I was just teasing. :) It was a comeback to 'back in your day'. ;D
Ah, that makes me feel better then. :D

But seriously, I do eventually want to learn those things... even if I have to learn the hard way.

Taking a trip to Southern California next week - my daughter is a fan of a really quirky band: Steam Powered Giraffe - kind of indie folk rock meets steampunk - which is playing at some family type event. Haven't done a road trip in a while, so it should be fun. Taking car in Monday to fix an oil leak - hopefully it will get a clean bill of health for the trip.
My daughter was supposed to earn souvenier money by doing some chores, which she did not do. I'm planning on sticking to my guns and not buying her anything beyond the concert ticket. May need prayer dealing with angry teen on 6 hr ride back.

The other day i was actually thinking about how much I would love to live on a farm out in the countryside somewhere away from the crowds and the cars and the lines everywhere.. but I wouldn't want to raise any animals or anything. I'd want a farm near a big walmart. :)

Took my Daughter to see Cinderella tonight. It was surprisingly very good and very appropriate for kids. It was well done and very sweet and romantic.

Yea, I have pretty much banned myself from walmart.... any walmart for that matter, cause I just cant stand "walmartians" they totally creep me out... although, funny as they may seem... but seriously, I see "walmartians" everyday at work, why would I want to see them in the store where i buy my groceries and stuff?

Anyways, my in-laws live out in the country, and at one time.. (before their town GREW) they did have chickens, and pigs... and other types of farm animals... but they all slowly died and got eaten by the coyotes and other wild animals... their neighbors actually own lamas!!! How cool is that!? :D

Oh yea I don't like shopping at walmart because of the same reason. Just last night I was standing in line and these two guys standing next to me were having a conversation about one of their relative's health problems and it wasn't the health problem that annoyed me, it was how every other word was the 'f' word. Where do these people come from?! And they weren't high school kids either. These guys were at least in their 30's. Can't beat walmart's prices though. At least not around here. If I could, I'd shop somewhere else.

I feel bad for the animals that got eaten. :( The llamas are cool though! :)

Lol, I work at a grocery store. You never know what you are going to see. There are people like that but the funny and nice ones make it awesome.

One time a kid was asked by his father which variety of goldfish he wanted. The kid replied, "The one that smiles back."

Don't you already have the most energetic Jack Russell, who is barely bigger than a puppy, and still pretty much acts like a puppy? One isn't enough? *smirk*

Man, if I'd realized I hadn't done those chores and that was on the line, I wouldn't rest until they got done. Lol I don't mess around when it comes to concerts though. :p which I'm going to one tomorrow! Fun stuff!!

 Whats with all the screaming in the thread lately?!

I can't decide what song to listen to, I'm so tired. I've stayed up too long I think I'm starting to imagine things out of the corner of my eyes. lol Jesus loves you all. Good night, well..good extra early morning where I am at. On second thought I may be up a bit more because of distractions but after that I'll sleep..maybe.
