Today I learned that there are all sorts of ways that you can lock your keys inside of your car

1. If you leave your car in the ignition sometimes the ding ding ding, noise won't go off and they will be stuck in the ignition all day and by the end of the your work day you will have the opportunity of calling a 24 hour towing company to get them out.

*This is old news but I thought about reverberating just now.

& The new way

2. If you have a swingy keychain holder that is attatched with your key and all of your key tags that you use, ex. library card, gym card, grocery store card...there is a possibility that if you get out of your car real fast and try to close your door as you turn around your keys will get stuck inside of the door.

A miraculous observation that will allow you to visit the donation store and buy a bunch of random kitchen utensils that you can use for the future.

I bought a mixed drink stick, hahaha. and no. I didn't know what those were until I was having it rung up lol. but I thought that was funny because I used to drink a lot and people probably think i'm drunk a lot because I lock my keys in my car at least once every four or five months.

I also purchased a bundle of knives for .50
a pastry stick thing, that I use as a wedge, lol
a coat hanger (which was free, boo ya)
and a sweater, because I like sweaters.

Oh and a metal prong thing that you can pick up hot dogs with at the barbeques , so. I guess you could say I have all of the tools to host my own personal church potluck in the gym parking lot.

And I made a new friend too, lol
A lady came over to talk to me and give me advice she said
That if you have to break a window, you can break the little area of the window rather than the whole window itself because it is less expensive.
:D haha yay.

She also said that she is joining the gym next week, so me thinks this was a divine intervention for God to interecede on my anti-social life. haha, darn it.
Or you can just keep an extra key in your purse. I used to lock myself out every few months too, but then I put an extra key in my wallet and it saved me a few times (keys didn't have remotes built into them back then). Now my keys are so bulky that I instantly notice when I'm not carrying them.

hahaha I can visualize all of this happening. and I bet that made for a good story! lol
I think i'm going to have to go to the locksmith this week and get some spares made...I think they do the spares..
anyway lol :D

I have had to get the help of a locksmith once. It was on my way home, on a random interstate exit. The local locksmith just happened to be eating breakfast at the local diner and he moseyed on over after he finished his meal.

When I related the story to my mother she told me to keep a spare key in my wallet. I've locked my key in the car many a time after that, but I have never had to call the locksmith.

We'll all relax when we're here
by talking together and posting verse
and Random thoughts :)
So I'll continue to post verse and talk
about God to keep my trust in Him!
At the same time, I'm listening Christians Songs
in French and in English!
Each day I'm here on this Website because not
because I'm reject or I'm weak, it's because
I need to think about Jesus and Read more The Bible!

Psalms 116.jpg

That's my verse for this Forum for today,
It makes me full of fears because I'm always afraid
to go to Hell, even if I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
I have difficulties to repent and to tell God my behavior.
When I read the Holy Bible, I see that the Disciple of
Jesus Christ were not afraid to die or to keep faith even
if people wanted to discourage them.

Hey, look who dropped in! Ladies and gentlemen, it's Tom Cruise!

(It's okay if no one got that. It's an old school chat joke. Like...LOUNGE level, even.)

Good to see you, Tandem. ^_^

Please explain to me how you guys manage to lock yourselves out of cars and homes with such frequency. I did help my friend break into her own home once, but keys are to be put in pocket in the morning and only removed when being used until nightfall. Well that was my old system back when I lived in the states anyway. Though in all fairness I may have forgotten to lock my bike before walking away a time or two. God must like me, I still have that bike.

ASKHDGAJGSDAJSGHDGHASDASHG PAYPAL IS STUPID. They require a stupid credit check to open an account!
Wat? I thought that was only for their PayPal Credit (formerly Bill Me Later, I think).

I think I remember you from the Lounge room. That was a long, long time ago. I had all these silly Lounge memories rush to the forefront of my memory. Good times.

I actually get really excited when I've locked myself out of a house. I find it a great adventure, popping out fly screens, climbing through awkward windows, challenging my body to get through without breaking everything inside.

I will be completely honest, it makes me feel like a ninja. Not only that, but I am a creative thinker and a kinaesthetic learner, so I get to apply both my strengths in the situation.

I remember as a teenager, sneaking out my bedroom window at night to go to forbidden parties. Although the parties and the drunkenness are memories I don't want to linger back on, I remember that half the fun was the challenge of getting out and getting back in my bedroom. And that moment when I finally snuck past my parent's bedroom window and the sound of my bare feet tapping against the cool road at night. That sense of exhilaration as my heart thumped out of my chest from excitement, the feeling of the night breeze brushing against my cheeks, the smell of 'night' that was crisp and frail.

That moment of freedom and liberation had some sort of innocent beauty to it, my moment of escape from an abusive household... a chance to find myself outside of the place that brought heart ache. But where I turned to after that short moment was a 'hit' I should never have turned to.

Now I'm not trying to encourage teenage girls to sneak out of their homes and to dishonour their parents or what not.

Actually, I don't even know what I'm getting out. Streams of consciousness and thoughts, right?

Sometimes I think this thread is our most-trusted friend and our most-feared enemy.

Imagine all the secrets it holds within these pages....

That is a very deep and very true thought. This basically sums up Streams.

I've only ever done it once and that just happens to be today. I got home and realised my brother hadn't returned my house key. So I had to wait outside for 90 minutes until someone came home. I didn't do anything adventurous. I just talked on the phone with my brother Josh and his friend Josh, prayed with them, watched a couple YouTube videos and then climbed into my car and read. Weird.

For car keys it might be best to go to a dealer because a lot of them now have a computer chip inside that needs to be programmed. And the ones with chips in them are expensive. $100 or more is fairly common to replace one with a chip. Yes, $100 for a key! :( But prices vary from place to place.

I am made from the dust of the stars
And the oceans flow in my veins
Here I hide in the heart of the city
Like a stranger coming out of the rain

The evening plane rises up from the runway
Over constellations of light
I look down into a million houses
And wonder what you're doing tonight

If I could wave my magic wand
I'd make everything alright...

I'm not one to believe in magic
But I sometimes have a second sight
I'm not one with a sense of proportion
When my heart still changes overnight

I had a dream of the open water
I was swimming away out to sea
So deep I could never touch bottom
What a fool I used to be.

If I could wave my magic wand
I'd set everybody free...

Only locked out of cars, never home. I also have a system, or maybe a consciously developed habit. My mother always had this habit of running around trying to find her keys before leaving the house so I made up my mind long ago that would NOT be how I spent every morning. I have a place for my pocket stuff - wallet, keys, pocket knife, pen. They all go in that place. If they're not in that place they're in my pockets. If they're not in my pockets they're in that place.

In the hut I live I have to lock my bedroom, my kitchen and a couple of padlocks at the main entrance...

You´re "lucky" having to use a single key.
