This morning I turned on The Today Show, I had to immediately change the channel. Of course they probably dedicate an hour talking about Bruce Jenner. I don't know how to explain transgender to my kids. I don't think Bruce or any other transgender person is bad, I am frankly tired of hearing about it and uh what would you say to your kids about it? My boss told me she turned off the news for the same reason. I said, poor little North West, is there a book titled, Grandpa is a woman now, that they can read to her?

I laughed a lot tonight-- and procrastinated too-- but wow, I was really off on my posts tonight-- I responded to this whole thread and was completely off base-- like, completely. And poor Kyle. I think he really does own a pizza place. I thought it was fake because it was a Christian pizza place called "Cheesus Crust"--really, a play on Jesus Christ, and a pizza place?? And it really exists!
Though didn't he say he was from Baltimore, MD? I can't remember.

Shannon,

Even if there is such a place, it doesn't mean he owns it. If you read his other posts, he made a lot of "pot-stirring" (emphasis on the word "pot") comments in the other forums. He probably looked up the name on Google and brought it here to stir up some controversy/interest.

A lot of things have happened on these forums over the years. A long time ago there was a seemingly very nice guy I used to like to listen to in chat. He was there almost every night, usually on camera, and talked about his family's business. He was often very encouraging and kind to others and a very positive presence in the Singles room.

One night he told us something terrible had happened, and posted pictures in his profile of "his family's business" burning to the ground. Of course, we were all terribly shocked and offered him as much prayer, support, and encouragement as we could. I know I'd had it in my heart to even start a collection for him as a donation--after all, his family had just lost their entire livelihood, right?

And the mods found the exact pictures he had used in his profile--and they weren't his pictures, or "his family's" shop. He had found those pictures on the internet, made the entire story up, and, for whatever crazy reason, spoon fed it to us looking for... sympathy? Attention? I have no idea. It was tragic, really, as I thought he was a really solid Christian guy.

All I can say is... These people must not have bills or something. Because I often wonder how it is that apparently they have all the time in the world to make up ruses like this and lure people in. And for what? A group of people offering prayer over a tragedy that never happened to them?

--wow-- I am so new to this stuff; I am naive, I guess. I enjoy posting, but even in these forums I still feel the need to be liked. I'd like to get over that, and say what I think and feel in a sensitive way. If people disagree, or are offended, I guess I'll just let them have that.

Well, there IS a full moon tonight. I know that scientifically it's not be proven to have an affect on humans, but boy it sure seems to.

Unfortunately some persons on the internet have entirely too much time on their hands and from time to time we end up with a catfish among us. Some of them have been convincing enough to have maintained their ruse for months (if not years) before people caught on that they weren't really who they portrayed themselves to be. For a Noob I recommend reading this thread to bring yourself up to speed on the subject.

The site staff here do their darndest to keep the frauds out of here but sometimes it takes a considerable amount of time in order to catch one of these frauds in the middle of their lies.

My prediction for the next stir crazy thread: it's going to be something something to do with "Conservative Christian Werewolves Who Have Spring Fever"...

So, I just scanned through the catfish site-- and then I wondered if people could think I was a catfish! (although my spelling isn't that bad, and I don't say, 'me is not understanding', or lure people away from this site) because I probably won't skype with people I meet in here, and I don't have any pictures of myself up on here--- then again, it might be kind of fun to be mysterious and have people wondering if I am who I am percieved to be-------- I'm BATMAN-- hahaha

The whole thing about being concerned about persons who refuse to Skype, etc. is more directed towards persons who are in some form of internet relationship. We've had more than one user who have been in an internet relationship for months with someone that they have NEVER seen.

Today I learned that there are all sorts of ways that you can lock your keys inside of your car

1. If you leave your car in the ignition sometimes the ding ding ding, noise won't go off and they will be stuck in the ignition all day and by the end of the your work day you will have the opportunity of calling a 24 hour towing company to get them out.

*This is old news but I thought about reverberating just now.

& The new way

2. If you have a swingy keychain holder that is attatched with your key and all of your key tags that you use, ex. library card, gym card, grocery store card...there is a possibility that if you get out of your car real fast and try to close your door as you turn around your keys will get stuck inside of the door.

A miraculous observation that will allow you to visit the donation store and buy a bunch of random kitchen utensils that you can use for the future.

I bought a mixed drink stick, hahaha. and no. I didn't know what those were until I was having it rung up lol. but I thought that was funny because I used to drink a lot and people probably think i'm drunk a lot because I lock my keys in my car at least once every four or five months.

I also purchased a bundle of knives for .50
a pastry stick thing, that I use as a wedge, lol
a coat hanger (which was free, boo ya)
and a sweater, because I like sweaters.

Oh and a metal prong thing that you can pick up hot dogs with at the barbeques , so. I guess you could say I have all of the tools to host my own personal church potluck in the gym parking lot.

And I made a new friend too, lol
A lady came over to talk to me and give me advice she said
That if you have to break a window, you can break the little area of the window rather than the whole window itself because it is less expensive.
:D haha yay.

She also said that she is joining the gym next week, so me thinks this was a divine intervention for God to interecede on my anti-social life. haha, darn it.

I have had to get the help of a locksmith once. It was on my way home, on a random interstate exit. The local locksmith just happened to be eating breakfast at the local diner and he moseyed on over after he finished his meal.

When I related the story to my mother she told me to keep a spare key in my wallet. I've locked my key in the car many a time after that, but I have never had to call the locksmith.
