1. Bowharp, sorry that happened :( Even a phone call would be better than a text. Bah! Hope you're holding up ok.
2. CatHerder, did your alien leave for good?
3. Will we ever unmask the Ghost Liker?
4. I finished both my projects!

#2. - I think my alien left. I left work after a half a day and went home and have been in and out of sleep. Less pain, but I think I pulled a muscle in my stomach, so...a different kind of pain. I am now craving ravioli. This would be breakfast for me at 7:23 since the only thing I have had today was water.

#3. - I am not THE ghost liker, but after reading about it, I ghost liked zero's post, just to experiment. mwah-ha-ha-ha! I guess its not a ghost like if you reveal your identity.

#4. - I know someone who restores and reburfishes (I am gonna just leave that typo in there) things. Her stuff really sucks compared to yours. If she has a business doing it, so can you! Go for it!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I do appreciate them.

Anyway, enough about me!!!

I wanna hear more about you guys!!! :)

MissCRIS! PURDY!! You haven't made me want that lamp (or the cabinet) any less

*I* just got out of the pool. I got a little bit of sun, which I love. I haven't been in a pool or in the sun in a few years, so I have NEW tan lines. All after doing my work today. It's already been a pretty good day.
Mmm..Pool sounds super relaxing. Good weather for it, while it last......... which in Vancouver, isn't for long. Hahaha.

1.
4. I finished both my projects!
I like the open cupboard idea. Very inventiveness. No more banging doors to look for items.

Ever since Lil posted about Ghost Liking, I think our Phantom Liker(s) has been the prowl and is upping the ante.

I received 10 Ghost Likes just this morning! (I really do wish they'd leave it as is though, because sometimes I meet new people through "likes" and hey, Ghost Liker, I can't thank you or ask you your own opinion if I don't know who you are! )

Sigh. What if my Dream Person, The One, and My Soul Mate is out there liking my posts... But won't let me know who he is??!!!
Secret admirer(s)? ;)

By the way, I got 6 more ghost likes last night! Woohoo!!
boo :p wish my bank account was like that.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Glad it's not stress related.

Lesson I learn today:

stressed, dessert backwards...changes perspective on life.

I'm glad to hear that the alien is gone, Cathearder, but a pulled muscle in your stomach can't be good.

Okay, so now there's a problem with my computer and I have no idea how to fix it. The dude I talked to on the phone was telling me it would cost me $300 to have a technician help me get rid of the problem, but there's no way I'm paying what my computer cost me, to get rid of a virus. There's no way I can do that either. We're having enough money problems as it is.
I'd really just like to know how get rid of the pop ups... My antivirus scanner says the problems are all gone, but my computer wasn't doing this stupid pop up thing last week.

I'm assuming you've already run a full system scan with your antivirus software. If you are using a free one, there are several free ones out there and you could theoretically try several different ones out to see if there's a better one out there. Maybe also try malware, adware, and other ware scanner/ removers.

If all else fails, Your computer should have a way to restore factory settings, basically wipe everything and start over. But you'll need to back up your files first and then install all updates and additional programs and stuff again.

And that's about all the help I can give you from far away.

sorry, which browser are you using?

If you are using Firefox there's an option in the setting for it:

1. click the "burger icon" on the right hand corner
2. Select the "option" button.
3. click the "content" button.

A display like this should show up:

popups.jpg

Under "Pop-ups". The box, "Block pop-up windows" should be ticked.

If this fails. Try downloading the pop-up from Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

If this fails. Time to wipe your hard-drive clean as suggested by cinder . :) Re-format your whole hard-drive.

It would feel like new again.

I'm quite sure that under the Constitution of the United States posting pictures like this without sending all viewers of said picture shown product would be classified as cruel and unusual punishment.

Eh, just another day at work... well, another bake day.

(I'm surprised no one has asked what the flavors are)

Very sluggish. And the browser keeps crashing. I told the guy there was no way I was paying that much.

I've tried completely resetting the computer, but I'm not doing it right, even though I've looked all over the internet for how to do it. I've tried wiping it several times, and the stupid thing is still there.

I don't have firefox. Someone suggested getting it, and I was going to today, but these gaul-darned ads and pop ups keep getting in my way, and crashing my browser.

$300?? Good grief! No virus removal or even reinstalling Windows procedure should cost that.

PM me if you would like some advice. I can even remote into the computer to help you get rid of whatever is there, if you're willing to cast your trust that far (totally won't take offense if you say no to that offer).

Could try getting someone to download (Browser program) for you. Saved it to an external hard-drive or CD or something to you externally.

Hmmm. What web browser(s) do you have? Do you only have one?

A good reformatting of the hard-drive. Did your computer come with a restore disk or reformatting CD?

Just make sure you all your software for re-installing all your hardware component like printer, webcam, etc....and saved all your important files on an external hard-drive/USB etc.

*wishes she was there with Immawildthing to reformat hard-drives*

It's kinda my obsessions. Nothing feels better than a clean hard-drive. Weird I know. :p Hahaa
