I am so sorry.

I'm with Melita. That guy sounds like he needs The Ministry of the Laying On Of Hands (of pain)... and Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child. (Hopefully the people here who know me will know that this answer is half-sarcastic and half-serious because I've been in the same situation.) I can just hear all the self-righteous flaming headed this way in 3... 2... 1...

But in the meantime, please allow me to say that obviously, somewhere along the line this guy has a rod coming with his name on it. Not only was breaking up by text a horrible way to treat someone, but who in their right mind says, "Oh, by the way, it's because I've found someone better."

Which means he was talking to her while he was talking to you... Cheaters need not apply.. EVER.

I know we're supposed to talk about love and forgiveness and all that, but it's times like this when I like to pull out one of my OTHER favorite Bible passages--Thou Shalt Reap What Thee Sows!!!

Bowharp, my inbox is always open for you if you'd like to vent.

And, I hope that you will hold your head high and go out and spend time with those you love, invest in a hobby, pick up a new interest, make new friends and go new places. Sometimes the best blessing truly is a life well-lived and I very much wish that for you.

Ever since Lil posted about Ghost Liking, I think our Phantom Liker(s) has been the prowl and is upping the ante.

I received 10 Ghost Likes just this morning! (I really do wish they'd leave it as is though, because sometimes I meet new people through "likes" and hey, Ghost Liker, I can't thank you or ask you your own opinion if I don't know who you are! )

Sigh. What if my Dream Person, The One, and My Soul Mate is out there liking my posts... But won't let me know who he is??!!!

*I* just got out of the pool. I got a little bit of sun, which I love. I haven't been in a pool or in the sun in a few years, so I have NEW tan lines. All after doing my work today. It's already been a pretty good day.

Kinda feel silly feeling like I've been played around...

I'm surviving. The day feels so long and I'm feeling drained out. Trying to stay positive.

Eating ice-cream, feeling a bit better, just a tiny bit better. Kinda surprise I can eat a whole contain of ice-cream in one go.

If he has to text you to tell you he found someone better, then obviously you're better off without him. He's saying that to try to hurt you. I wouldn't put too much in what he has to say. Just continue trusting in the Lord, and if it's in His Will a better guy in the future will have to seek Him to find you.

I've had it happen to me twice.. It definitely isn't fun, and it takes a while for the pain away.. But it does go away. I'm praying for you, sister. Stay strong!
