Vacation time. so. close. Plans (mostly) set. Decided to spend time in Iregon <---what? Oregon and California, which works for me because I've never been to California.

I saw a hitch hiker today, and drove past...even though I was the only one in the van. Or because. I don't know, but I felt bad because it was hot outside.

I think im in rambling mode so I should stop before I get started.
Don't feel bad, dear sister. Picking up hitch-hikers isn't wise for anyone, let alone someone on their own. You need to look after yourself.

Going over tributes and condolences to Chris Squire. What a bummer to have lost such a talent.

@MissCris:
What time are you picking me up? (You are driving through L.A, right?)

You mean that she uses bones and corals in some sort of pagan worship?

Thank you for clarifying that. I agree with you - since we are speaking English, it has to be grEy. And coloUr. And honoUr. And realiSe. I could go on and on... :p
I also am confused by the bones and coral reference.
Yes, it's a reference to pagan worship. Specifically witchcraft.

Hey all. If you don't mind praying for me, something discouraging to me happened last night. =\ Nothing earth-shattering. But I can be very sensitive to people saying negative things to me or have stern words towards me. Makes me feel like...the worst person ever.

When you're "helpless damsel in distress" face doesn't work at the hardware store, put on your "I'm about to have a major hissy fit cause I haven't been able to get any help for the last 30 minutes, and I'm tired of wandering around the store for a non existence person" face. Works every time.
I can honestly say that I have never used a "helpless damsel in distress" face at a hardware store, but if I went without help for that long on the rare occasion that I need it the manager on duty would have already heard about it.

Well, I haven't had a chance to do this yet, cause I was too hot and exhausted by the time we got the piano home, but the hardware store made the mistake of handing me a receipt that has those telephone service polls. So yeah, guess what I'm planning on doing?

Well, honestly? He should probably know what's in that blog. It should be stuff you discuss with him and not really with the public at large. I hope you have that relationship with him. If not? I hope his reading your blog brings about that closeness.
You should allow him to read your blog and be willing to talk about it with him. It may not be easy but that's a whole different level of closeness. :)
Lol, you guys make it sound like it's something important and marriage-altering. There isn't really anything in my blog that would "bring us closer" or farther apart. It's just the same as having someone significant, reading a book you wrote. You're sure they'll approve, you're sure they'll love it, but there's still that sense of foreboding... Like... Maybe they won't. You know they will, but what if?

Sister, sincerely, if you have this much stress about it? You should be talking to him about it before it goes public. That's all I'm saying.

In a completely unrelated note, I think "The Gary Scale" will be a long-running CC Singles inside joke. It's almost sad that the thread went kablooey because there will be no reference point for future generations... yet, it's so good that there will be no reference point for future generations. It's also one of those inside jokes that should probably never be explained to any sort of depth to anyone in any capacity.

I live with my Mother and my Grandma + my animals (dog and cat).

My father lives in Montreal near his girlfriend.

That's my situation of the day.
