It'll be fun! :) AquaZumba is great too! :)

I want to try AquaZumba, but my instructors' facility doesn't have a pool. Do you have to get your hair wet for that? It's such a pain to get my hair wet. :p I do Zumba Circuit and Toning which are really fun. I love Zumba, and not just for the cool cargo pants.

Hey! I held myself to two dresses, a skirt, two shirts and shoestrings! :) That's a LITTLE...........right?

I NEEDED them for ...ummm...work. Yeah. For work.
I actually DID have to go clothes shopping for work today. Since the only suit (other than my tuxedo) that I have that actually fits me is a suit that I have no desire to wear (it was purchased by The Ex), and I needed a suit tomorrow, I had to go suit shopping.

It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, since NOW (finally!) they actually make off-the-rack sport jackets that are actually pretty close to the right fit. (Slim fit seems to work; traditional cuts are right out.) I have a few old suits (traditional fits) that really need to be tailored, and I really thought that I wouldn't find anything that wouldn't require tailoring, and I did! Although it's still not perfect, as the woman who measured me said I needed a 39...since off-the-rack suits typically only come in even numbered measurements (although the slacks occasionally pop up in odds), I had to settle for a 38 (a little snug at the shoulders), because the 40 was too big at the waist.

The catch was that since the jacket was slim fit, the pants were cut slim as well, which made my correct measurement unusable...the slacks were basically skin tight from just above my knee to my waist. (Seriously, ladies, how do you wear skin tight jeans comfortably? I know the young males currently do so as well, and I just can't fathom how they can even move around. I sat down, and it felt like the slacks were on the verge of ripping at the seams.) So while I had to get the jacket a number lower, I had to get the slacks a number higher.

Even picked up a new pair of dress shoes, since the shoes I wear with the tux are NOT good for lots of walking around in, and since tomorrow is a marching contest, I'm going to be moving around a fair bit. Might as well wear something that won't make me grouchy to the point that when a kid makes a smart-aleck remark I take off a shoe and throw it at them.

And also, yaaaaay long dresses! I heart long dresses.

that's makes sense, when we think we say something wrong/bad judgment/insensitive/uncool on a social network site, like Facebook, just let Jesus handle things frome there, maybe, even it's Him wanting you to say something back to them, maybe, that person doesn't know Jesus or hearing a faith word of apology of something that could have been wrongly understood is just the thing He wants you to do :) And, He knows what we mean to say, He knows our heart, just pray that whoever you speak too can know too. The Lord leads. :)

Tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999! Oh. wait. Nevermind.
Ah yes, those were the days. Driving around in a little red Corvette in Minneapolis, wearing paisley pants, a raspberry beret, and high-heeled boots. Dating women twice my height and half my intelligence. It was a great time to be a black musical icon . . . Oh, wait . . .

So, do we get to see a picture? It's nice to find something that fits without needing to be tailored. Hope the marching contest goes well!
I was going to ask if we would get a picture of your new long skirt, but then I went back and double checked, and Red was the only one who'd actually bought a long skirt; you simply expressed affection for them. *smirk*

(I suppose I could photo-stalk your Facebook, but that would just be impolite. *laughs* )

Maybe I'll have a kiddo take a picture tomorrow at some point. We're going to have to rename the thread "Streams of Shour's Pictures" based off of the last couple weeks if this keeps up. All the newbs are going to think I'm so vain, that I probably think this post is about me.

Hey I bought a new long skirt LAST week. But I'd rather see Jullianna in hers. *cheesy grin*

Oh, is that impolite? I already stalked yours. Pocahontas was mentioned and I couldn't resist.

It's Catlynn's fault.

Oh, I know that all of us would love to see Red modelling her new duds. But I've a feeling it's not likely to happen. ^_^

Hey HEY... just remember to be kind!
(I thought all your pictures were adorable, if that helps any. ^_^ )

Now, go to bed. It's late and you have a suit to put on tomorrow. :D

Some yelling going on in my back lane. I hate it cus I don't know if there is someone needing help, or some guy on drugs or drunk and could be dangerous. He stopped now, so either he is gotten his drunk ass home to pass out, or is dead and will be in tomorrow's headlines. My mind races at night.

Performance is at 7:30pm, and the kids report for inspection at quarter to 6. I could sleep until 3pm and be fine! It's my last weekend before I actually have to take roll and grades again (and listen to 6th graders try to produce a concert F). I don't get to stay up and clown around a little???

So, I found these drawings in my pictures tonight. I think they do a pretty good job of illustrating what it's like to be inside my head most of the time.

Wow, that's kind of...embarrassing. But apparently not embarrassing enough.

It could happen on FB, but never here :) I don't wanna listen to the vanity stuff either :)

I think I actually already have some long skirt pics on there in the album with my dog pics :)

I think you MIGHT be able to do it without getting your hair wet but I doubt it :( Sorry I didn't see this question earlier! :)

I really liked the drawings :) We try to keep the invisible monkey in his cage, but kenthomas keeps letting it out. (Just between us, I think they might be one and the same :) )

Question...if a child dies, and someone messages you asking about it, and you say, "Yea, I heard about that. Didn't know the kid, but..." would it be offensive to call a deceased child a kid? I kinda just ran into that situation. They told me the term kid can kind of grate....but it's not like I'm insensitive. My friend's 16 month old baby died. Death at that young of an age truly is tragic. I do feel for those who have lost a child. But, they were a kid.

How different would it be if you heard an elderly man died, and someone asks about it, and you said, "Yeah, I heard about him dying. I didn't know the man, but it's sad to hear that he died." that doesn't sound offensive, does it? Then again, I haven't been through a whole lot of those scenarios. Thank God. But, at the same time...is there some sort of etiquette to how you talk about someone you didn't know that died?

I really hope this makes sense and someone can give me help with this.
Maybe, you might want to ask God in your own heart, to give you what to say, whenever you need it, for me I need it all the time
