Ok so here are my pics from my trip yesterday. I had driven to the fashion island mall in newport beach in my dad's convertible (now mine) in order to celebrate my birthday by having a nice meal there and taking in the sights (it's a beautiful outdoor mall). It was something I've always longed to do. I had less than an hour to park, eat and walk around so I hope to do it again soon.
A quick disclaimer: These are just quick phone pics and not like the ones I take when I do photography. There's only a few because my phone ran out of memory. There aren't any pics of the coast because I didn't have time to drive around. I'm not in any of the pics either. (I'm too embarrassed to take selfies in public, especially if no one else is)
Here's the convertible parked next to a nice new aston martin.
(the plate doesn't really say Z3RO T.. its photoshop)
After I parked it I decided to name the car 'Zero' that day since the model designation looks like 'ZE' (its actually Z3) and I think the name fits. Someone named my other car 'shadow' so I felt like I should name this one too. Then a funny/strange thing happened right after I thought of the name. You'll read about it below...
Had this delicious baconburger and root beer from Five Guys in the food court. It was easily one of the best burgers I've ever tasted! I've always heard about this place but haven't really tried it until now.
A strange thing happened when I placed my order.. I had just decided to name my car 'zero' and thought to myself that whenever I was in it, together we would be 'double-zero'.
Well right after I told the cashier my order she said "Oh, your number is double-zero!" I was thinking 'no way!' Weird huh?
You can see the two zeros on the receipt. I like to think that it was my dad's way of showing his approval of his car's name.
The view from my table overlooking the koi pond...
This is gelato from Gelato Paradiso in the food court.. got dessert?
This lambo was parked outside one of the restaurants. I also saw a ferrari, a rolls royce and a carrera gt in the parking lot.
The giant christmas tree. Its much prettier in person.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pics.
Sorry there wasn't more.
