In related news, tomorrow night my church is having a meet-and-eat. On the last Wednesday night of the month we forgo our regular church service and instead have supper, after which the pastor does a bible study.

This month they said the menu is "soup and grilled cheese." So I took the "grilled cheese" idea and ran with it. Sliced three loaves of my sourdough bread into really thin slices. Got a few blocks of colby cheese and a roll of real butter from the mennonite store. Tomorrow I'm going to fire up a couple of griddles and make cheese sandwiches until we run out of bread, cheese or butter.

Hmmm... I might possibly have spent about $125 at a mennonite bakery/health food store. But I got lots of stuff I need! Got a few blocks of colby for making grilled cheese at church tomorrow night. (That wasn't the expensive part.) Also stocked up on sesame sticks, mostly because I like sesame sticks. (Still not the expensive part.) And I got a couple pounds of smoked turkey. (Not terribly expensive.)

And I got (THIS is the expensive part) five bags of raw brazil nuts. Unroasted, no salt. Just plain, un-fooled-with brazil nuts. Love em!

Wow!!! Those nuts sound good!!! I love going to the organic grocery stores.... Too expensive for me, but so worth it.

I was trying to figure out why a certain someone hadn't texted me in a few days. As I was looking at her contact page, I noticed this little blue circle with a line thru it. Evidently, I somehow accidentally put her on my auto reject list. XD

I didn't even know that existed. What a fail -_-

Psalm 28----

1To you, Lord, I call;
you are my Rock,
do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who go down to the pit.
2Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
as I lift up my hands
toward your Most Holy Place.

3Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.
4Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
and bring back on them what they deserve.

5Because they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord
and what his hands have done,
he will tear them down
and never build them up again.

6Praise be to the Lord,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.

8The Lord is the strength of his people,
a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.
9Save your people and bless your inheritance;
be their shepherd and carry them forever.

I'm in total agreement. I had to use the fax machine at work the other day and it kept failing to send. I never could quite understand why because I followed the instructions step by step and even made sure I had the correct number. I went and requested some assistance and still had a problem. I gave the fax machine a few minutes and tried it again along with calling it baby and it finally worked. I don't get it, but at least it went through after trying five different times. Apparently "sweet talking" machines work for me

Yeaaah.. I had to google how to turn it off. I don't remember iphone having anything like that. I switched to Galaxy S6 in the summer and still haven't really explored the phone lol.

XD hahaha!!!!

ummm.... Just a thought ok?

When you get a new phone... You might wanna explore it, and check the new gadgets out before you freak out over silly stuffs. Not that you were freaking out, but might save you some... Curiosity about certain things about your new phone. I've always had an iPhone, had something similar to a blackberry back in the day... But I've always stuck with iPhone. I don't trust myself with new phones I know nothing about.. :rolleyes:

Note to self: When you're at the everything-costs-one-dollar store and you see a pair of earbuds, do NOT get them! Doesn't matter if they do look like they would block outside noise, $1 earbuds are never, ever, EVER a good idea. Stick with what you know sounds good.

I don't know if my music sense will ever recover from that experience. Man, talk about unequal frequency response!

Actually started last year. I never used to text. At first, I could maybe get 7 words per minutes because I had to retype everything from hitting the wrong letters lol. It was sad. :p
