Read an article about 10 alternatives to the Big Bang theory (which is bogus) and this is what was written towards the end.

Hindu creation stories can be reconciled with scientific theories with an ease that escapes most other religious cosmologies.
(Me: Hahaha - NO)

Carl Sagan once said, “It (Hinduism) is the only religion in which the time scales correspond to those of modern scientific cosmology. Its cycles run from our ordinary day and night to a day and night of Brahma, 8.64 billion years long. Longer than the age of the Earth or the Sun and about half the time since the Big Bang.”

Wrong! Carl, do your research. Hinduism birthed evolutionary philosophy. It's not scientific in the least. Your bias is showing.
Sagan may no longer be with us, but his spirit lives on in... SAGAN MAN! Stopping criminals in their tracks with mind-blowing facts!

Sure they laugh now, but in ten years the city's entire criminal population will quit and go into space research.

**loves the results of Obamacare /end sarcasm

Last year my "fine" for having not purchased "affordable" healthcare that I couldn't afford ate up half of my refund, this year it not only consumed my entire refund, but for the first time in my life I owe an additional $171. (my refund had I been able to afford the "affordable" healthcare would have been well over $400.

Thank you Mr Obama for effectively increasing my taxes by a large percentage so that you could give that money to others in the form of a tax credit.

when the demoncrats pulled that obamacare crap, Americans should have been in DC burning the place down and running all the demoncrats off to North Korea.

Now we have this very illegal Obamacare fine (remember folks, this obamacare fine is actually illegal, FDR tried something back in the day that was a similar setup (using government to force people to buy a product) and some jewish butchers in nyc took it to court and won. shame the courts have become blind to the law.

They made it legal by calling it a tax when the case hit the Supreme Court even though up to that point they swore it wasn't a tax increase.

still illegal. do you get taxed because you don't have car insurance even if you have no license?

plain and simple, it is illegal to tax someone just because they don't have something.

Thinking tonight about how truly blessed we are. People come and go in our lives, but God never leaves us. For me, that is tremendously comforting. :)

Yes, and its interesting how justice Scalia's death was handled so quickly without an autopsy even though he did not die at home and there were no witnesses and he was found with a pillow over his face. His death occured right after the supreme court decided to put a hold on obama's clean air law that would have cost businesses billions of dollars to comply with and it would have levied steep fines if they didn't do it by the deadline.

It is strange, the war between states was over more than 150 years ago...yet hearing about Atlanta burning is making me feel all down.

A mess...

...but seriously, in a nutshell? It's the US Government/Pres. O'Bama's attempt at semi-socializing the healthcare industry/forcing US Citizens to have health insurance...or else, profit from those who do not.

I mean, that's what I got after about 130 pages...

A brief summery as explained by *Turbo Tax*:

I don't know the details of obamacare, but I know that if we needed to have insureance to get hospital care, rather than it being free because we pay tax, I'd have died before I turned five , as would most "premies" (premature babies) that have single parents who couldn't otherwise afford the bills

for my 2015 filing taxes, i had to pay the penalty of no insurance in 2014. i got insurance for 2015, and i didn't use it at all, which i'm grateful. so for 2016, i went with a lower premium, which means benefits aren't that great. my family has always been pretty healthy, so God willing, i won't need to use insurance this year.

i see a lot of insurance policies at work, and i gotta say, every since obamacare kicked in, i have seen deductibles go waaaaaaaaaaaay up high. :(

Yep, before Obamacare I paid 125$ a month with 250$ deductible direct from Anthem and now pay 186$ with 2200$ deductible. There is really only 3 types of people that benefit from Obama. The genuinely sick or have preexisting conditions because they get ridiculous rates without employer provided insurance. I remember my sister being type 2 diabetic tried to get direct coverage from Anthem and they wanted like 800$ a month. Second, is those who legitimately can't afford healthcare. The last is freeloaders and tax dodgers that get free healthcare. Most of the people I know that have free health insurance just don't want to work or work doing something tax free and don't claim the income.

In the end Obamacare isn't about health -- it is just a tax hike. The government found a way to dump the cost of the uninsured onto those (individuals and companies) that pay for health insurance. As a result, the government spends less of our tax money on the uninsured -- while people continue pay the same tax rate, but with higher premiums. Obamacare also raised my month rate almost 20 dollars from the previous year, so they are probably going to hike the rates every year. The government definitely pulled a fast one on us..
