Haha - I agree with you on LotR. If it were closer to the book we would have had a 45 minute segment on Tom Bombadil.

Zzzzzzzzz
Haha! Exactly, brother! I mean, I understand the goodness of the character and what his purpose was (he was meant to be the Middle-earth version of God), but his scenes were ridiculously out of place in terms of tone and pacing. It just didn't work. I would take the movies over the books, but I would've loved the Barrowights scene to be in there and the Scouring of the Shire.

For me, LotR is what I would use to get a good nap. I have tried many times to watch and enjoy it but every time i find myself distracted by the blank spot on the wall.

Same here. That goes for Harry Potter too, but I did like the first movie.

Hay, Dew, and Merry Do, my hearty!

Actually, I believe the references to God were in other characters. I always understood Tom to be the manifestation of the Earth... Like, if the planet had a spirit, that was Tom Bombadil.

not really seen any road rage honestly. I think most people are smart enough not to tangle with a truck that can weigh up to 80,000lbs. no matter what they do, the truck is going to win.

Why would I hit you? You telling me not to hit you makes me want to hit you more though...
Oh, sorry, Molly. It's something we say in Australia. It basically means don't judge me for what I've said (in a joking manner). Because it's probably not a popular position. Your response cracked me up. Thank you. :)

I am so glad that most of my work is done. I just have one more exam to study for. But the hardest things I had to do which was study for my first exam and finish the paper I just turned in a few hours ago is all done.

I've been waiting for this moment. It felt so far away on Tuesday.

It's smooth sailing from here.
