Anybody who knows anything about baking, I need some help. I need a chocolate crust that won't dissolve into whatever I'm baking on top of it.

See, I've been fiddling around with baked chocolate pudding lately. Same recipe as chocolate pudding on the stove top, but bake it in the oven. So I wanted to put a crust under it. Everything I try dissolves into the pudding mixture when I bake it. Chocolate pudding before cooking seems to be just too thin, it seeps down into whatever is under it.

And yes I have tried baking the crust and THEN baking the pudding on top of it. Still doesn't work.
I'm no expert but I have a feeling that you're trying to do something that isn't possible..

Maybe you should just make a chocolate cream pie instead..

hmmm.. i have no idea what chocolate pudding you want to make?
and what kind of crust you want?
but have you try pie crust made from: 1:2 butter/flour?
i used this crust to make egg pie.. the filling only from milk and egg yolk so the consistency very thin..
i also use this crust to make mini brownies :D

Time to sleep for a couple of hours.
This year is going to be challenging, and a little bit lonely.

But it is a connection, I will most certainly be connected with Him in the top tier of His dwelling.

I really do not know what to expect but things feel a little bit more comfortable than it used to be, I really need it.
Just feel like I'm in his palm right now, doors are open for his providence. I haven't felt connected to Jesus in a long time, and it helps me connect to others too. It is really neat, because I was most certainly asleep.

The power of the Gospel.

Good morning/night.

Yeah it's totally easy to eat healthy when a bagel is basically the same price as a dozen donuts. I'm not being fat, I'm being ECONOMICAL.

And possibly some cookies And other junk food I probably don't need... But they were calling my name!! I had too! :(

Thanks. Now I'm going to have to go by a (really good) local donut shop and get some donut holes. And it's your fault because you mentioned donuts. Or I'm blaming it on you anyway. :p

*sigh* Sometimes I hate the county I live in. They often seem to forget that my town is, in fact, located in This county. Trying to find information on the school here, I found the county school district page that has a list of schools...but not the one here. Searching for this school by name takes me to the county's page again, where the school I'm trying to check out isn't listed. Thanks, hometown. You bums.

The donut talk in this thread was very ill timed. In fact I can accurately say the timing was nothing short of execrable. I got donut hungry so I stopped by the donut place on the way to work. NOT A SINGLE DONUT!!! They had an equipment failure of some sort and had no donuts at all to sell.

I almost cried...

Looks like a waste of good avocado. But then I'm big on avocado and not much for pasta.
