It's funny how quickly your mood can go from happy to ticked off in one second. -.-

Who else gets nauseous when they're stressed or anxious? This week has been crazy. But I get a 3 day weekend starting tomorrow. And I'm gonna be watching Star Trek, alone, on a weekday, in an empty theater (well, not exactly empty, there are like a few others, like 5-6 seats reserved). But, I think, Chris Pine will make it a beautiful day. xD

the moment you thought you went to a small church,

but then you start counting everybody,

and then you're like "where did all these people come from???"

le sigh. lol
They came out of the woodwork because you're engaged now.

Request definition of "small" please. Less than 10,000? Less than 500? Less than 20?

My church currently averages 120-130 on a Sunday morning (less of course on a Wednesday night) and I consider it sorta kinda large for this area, but not really big.

I seem to remember my cousin who doesn't have insurance needed a lot of dental work and just went to Costa Rica (I think) to get it because even with the plane tickets and hotel stay it was cheaper that way. Just an option to consider if you want to have a good excuse for a small vacation and get your dental work done.
Isn't that nuts? (Not that a "vacation" sounds nuts.) Likewise, people - even some with medical insurance - fly to Thailand for major operations that cost too much here.

...maybe I need two "vacations."

Here's to feeling better, miss shine (unless you want to be ticked off, which is okay too).

That's considered small in Oklahoma. Granted, about 75% of our churches are small congregations (≤100) here, but to be considered large you must over 100 active members (in worship/engaged in church activities).

Even still, 'large' is a vague definition, because I know highly active, financially viable churches of 300 vs struggling and fairly inactive churches of 250... I think to be considered a 'mega' church, you have to have at least 500+ active and engaged members.

Come to think of it...I'll try to look up that criteria. We are the Bible Belt, but there may be interdenominational differences.

Well, from this individual's test sample/perspective... I wasn't too far off. Some interesting points:

There Fixed It.
Churches that are about middle size range are from 100-1000. Large Churches are about 1000-5000. Then mega-churches are at around 5,000

On Sundays, my church has services at 7:30am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 5pm and 7pm and they're all packed, standing room only (in the back). I'd say its around 400-500 people each time.. Okay okay, the 7:30am one isn't as packed as the others, but its still pretty full..

That's the beauty of it, Vi.

We're BOTH evil.
