That's so funny Arwen I didn't read your post before I posted mine.

I read before that you watch Days Of Our Lives, I do too, that was some slap Marlene gave Victor the other day. It made me laugh. I don't care how evil Victor is, I love him, I love his dry wicked sense of humor.

Upon request of a friend, I have changed my profile picture to one of me. It was HARD to find one without:

a) Other people in them

b) a capture date of less than year or more ago

c) was good/acceptable as a closer-up profile avi

@_@ I don't really take selfies or anything much, so...yeah.

So I'm heading into the kitchen for a handful of crackers when I spy a drinking glass carefully placed upside down on the floor in the livingroom entryway. Ahhh... what is it this time? I carefully move closer and see that, sure enough, there is a spider trapped quite humanely inside the glass. The joys of living with compassionate teenage daughters... Or cruel ones, depending on how long they intended to leave the creature there.

Did you kill it?!

Sometimes, someone says something to me that is so perfect, so well-timed, so...perfectly well-timed...that I end up totally lost for any words that make sense when I string them together.

Holed up in Fort Stockton for the night, the halfway point between El Paso and San Antonio. It took seven hours to get halfway on a seven hour trip.

Granted, I got here at 8, which left me plenty of time, but if the remaining half was going to take another seven hours, I wouldn't get to San Antonio until 3am. Plus, keeping my car right on the razor's edge (which is 1 mph under the speed where the car does a 180) for three hours (Van Horn to Ft. Stockton) has exhausted me mentally. You know the road is in a bad way when you're barely doing 30 mph and hanging on for dear life. The Lord really does protect His own.

Man I watched Jane Eyre for the second time, its just so bloody moving. I don't think I could date a guy who rather watch The Hangover, or other pubescent movies.

(oh and the Jane Eyre character is definitely INFP)

I am now afraid of Texas and driving with you. Don't drive at 179 miles per hour! That's just crazy.

What was the problem? Was it accident traffic? Or something more? I can't believe it took that long... I hope it doesn't cut too far into your time in San Antonio. Ugh.

Huh? Shouryu, were you driving 30 MPH or 179? Maybe I should get some sleep; perhaps this would make sense after some shut eye...

The 3+ hours it took to get to Van Horn was the accident(s). The 3+ hours to get from Van Horn to Ft.Stockton was inclement weather. Roads iced over, tons of snow. Surprised you aren't seeing any of that on your end of the state.

Watch the 2011 BBC movie version. You will understand.
But... will it be too girlie? I don't really know the story. Jane Austen always struck me as writing really girlie type stuff. But then again i've never read anything by her. So i don't know.
