Is there a principal who actually holds all staff to the same level? Especially his admin team? If so, I want to come work for that principal.

I am intermittent in posting. It's been a while and very rare that I see a good discussion on here that makes me want to participate in it.

*Shrugs*. There's been some sort of limit to rational discussions or growth of sorts.

I don't feel the atmosphere is quite the same without Stilly the mod or some of the other cool members on here who don't participate as much either.

I have been so weary and tired of people lately, including being very tired of myself. Maybe I am just all peopled out from too much interaction. I wish I could go into hibernation and forget everything for a while. -_- Since I can't do this though, I really need God's help to change my attitude.

Sometimes it's wise to take some time to think and be alone. Maybe you just need some quiet time to recharge:)

Yes, we have owls in Australia. But I couldn't give you a who's who. ;) There are maybe 10 or so species. Only one of them sounds vaguely like your owls in the Northern Hemisphere. The rest are pretty quiet creatures.

I have come to associate Australia with Tintin. Hes not even the only Australian person I know of online, I even know a different Australian online that I talk to much more, hes just the first person that comes to mind when I think of the country, haha.

I have no idea why this is.

Thank you, PinkDiamond! This is very wise advice. I think this weekend should be quieter and then I'll have a lot more time to step back and think over a lot of things.

Thank you, zeroturbulence! I took your advice and made myself some tea (sweet rose herbal tea), it was good and relaxing. :)

So I got half a day off work because of Christmas party (I seriously do have great bosses), and got my carmel apple tea that I've been wanting (finally found a store that sold it) and sat for a couple hours at the BMV so that I could get a driver's license and get my car all registered here. And after a rather clueless first effort, my brother did get a decent resume turned in that I could submit to my boss. And now I seem to be craving pizza and stuck in a, I don't feel like going out and doing anything, but sitting at home alone all night doesn't sound like much fun either funk.

LOL I think of him too when people mention australia!! :D I think its because of a post he made awhile back about the dangerous wildlife there and how its not just in the outback.

I remember him. He told me he knew what Alabamians were like and posted a gif showing a turtle hustling to water after encountering an ALABAMIAN;).
