I once watched the first batman tv series that was in color on youtube. Laughed my head off! I know it wasnt supposed to be funny, but all the vintage stuff and the bad acting was hillarious to me:D
Yes, I know what you mean. I randomly changed it to one of those vintage channels and watched part of an episode, it was so camp- I laughed my head off. It was just so silly. I don't know how they got through the lines, to tell the truth.

SO, two Saturdays ago, I got a new puppy. Yep. She's pretty much adorable. My current dog seems to be wondering why I brought home this evil deliverer of destruction. As I type this she's dragging my purse across the floor by the strap...oy.

Instrument of chaos and destruction I tell you...

You must remember that is all they had back then. They didn't know the difference. It wasn't "camp" back then, it was the latest thing.

Kinda like when you try to use a computer from 1992. "This thing won't burn a CD, won't get online, doesn't even have a browser... how did anybody ever even USE this thing?!" Back then it was the best thing going.

1992 wasn't all that long ago. It is only... umm ... let's see ... TWENTY FIVE YEARS AGO! Where did my life go?

1992 was before the internet became popular. It was back when only nerds were online chatting in IRC chatrooms. Shoot, only nerds were able to even CONNECT to the internet. They were the only ones who knew how to set ports, proxies, IP addresses, hostmasks... Normal people didn't have any little boxes to connect automatically back then.

Sonflower: Yeah but puppies are so cute you just can't stay mad at them! Even grown dogs who are customarily belligerent will lie there and suffer puppies to gnaw on their ears.

Actually I think that's the only reason our dog didn't bite me when I was a toddler. I used her tail as a lawnmower starter cord, I bit her ears, and she just lay down and howled until mom came to rescue her. I think the poor dog considered me a puppy.

"Thank you Lord for a good night's sleep."

I usually get a good night's sleep, at least six hours, usually seven. And I say the above whenever I think of it, because I know things could be very different.

But last night I really did not deserve a good night's sleep. I had cheddar on my turkey sandwich at breakfast, homemade chocolate pudding for lunch - not for dessert, it WAS lunch - and last night at church we had italian-themed supper with all that lasagna. Nobody made me eat all those, and I know what dairy does to my sinuses. But against all odds I got a good night's sleep last night. My sinuses are still really upset with me, but I'll survive.

Thank you, thank you, THANK you Lord for a good night's sleep last night.
