Okay, perhaps you'd care to identify some of that "best music"... I'd probably recognize it. Most of the music that I remember is from the '80's. However, I must say, it is heresy to suggest that any decade other than the '60's had the best music. ;)

Sorry, I'm not into Slash or GNR that much, but he's an awesome guitarist. I used to love them when they first came out in the 90's, but after they kept playing sweet child of mine on the radio over and over again I got sick of them. :p

The 80's...the best music and the WORST fashion choices! Just saying.
I know because I lived through it. The mullet...the neon....jelly shoes and bracelets....facepalm.

I had had all of those things except for the mullet. I did have some interesting hair don'ts back then though. I still feel kind of giggly inside when I hear a Duran Duran song.

Today, I was driving and some guy tried to move over into my lane, didn't look properly and almost hit my car lol. After I honked, he proceeded to speed up, narrowly pull in front of me and turn into a restaurant. I wanted to follow him into the parking lot and tell him off, but somehow I held myself back. XD Also, I was talked out of it. -_- #cantstandbaddrivers

I kind of had something similar happen on my way home from work on Friday. I was sitting at a red light and some large pickup lost control coming around the corner and spun two times and honestly I don't know how he didn't hit me....it was so surreal

When my mind is racing tonight.....

When my life has been going so good for the past five months, I'm up thinking about so much right now.

Just meditating on Psalm 4:8 <3

Life is... busy. Not "good busy", and not "bad busy".

I was planning on using vacation time in August to just escape and not contemplate where I'm at in life, but I think I'll spend a lot of time on the road figuring out a direction for when I get back. A lot of attempts at change have been baby steps, ones I think have largely failed me in the greater scope of things. Perhaps it's time for something a little more drastic.

I don't want to turn 30 next year and feel like a failure.

Didn't think I'd ever find myself saying this, but CC seems to have changed in a good way. Is it because a lot of the overbearing people are gone? Is it because the lounge is no longer just nonsense talk? Is it because dare I say, I missed this place? Probably all of the above. So many people I knew on here I don't even see anymore.. but just maybe there's friends here I've yet to meet. Seems like no matter what I'm going through in life, this place remains my constant.

The lounge is no longer just nonsense talk? Really? Maybe it's time to poke my nose in there again.

Note to self: Don't drink coffee on an empty stomach.

I'm so antsy I feel like I could stop time like the squirrel in Over the Hedge.

Im not big into the 60s, too many singer/songwriters. Dont like the guy singing a message while strumming the same barre chords and open chords on acoustic guitar while the drummer keeps a metronome and the bass follows along with root notes : p The 70s had some cool music though.

The 80s were actually kinda cool, alot of people look down on them but I liked them. Im a fan of like Joy Division and The Cure and The Smiths to a lesser extent. They all played well and had really cool music.

I cant pick a favorite era of music, cuz theres too much to complain about them : p Alot of people I know say the 90s, and while I think alot of it was great, it was pretty darn focused on guitar and sad singer : p
