A couple weeks ago, I woke up and saw the cat laying at the end of the bed, and I just stared at her for several seconds thinking, "...why is she not in the basinet?" And then I remembered that she's a cat, not a baby. You know you're tired when, amiright.

Yup, and most women think that about men. Most women paint everything they see with a really broad brush because most women are really fond of making sweeping generalizations.

What? Most women do NOT make sweeping generalizations? Neither are MOST men as dumb as you think they are.
I did not write that men were dumb, only that most men are more motivated by physical desire than anything else. I seriously doubt most men would turn down a lingerie model, regardless of how stupid or hateful she might be. The objectification of women is real, not imaginary.

I would agree, most women do make generalizations.

Yeah most men aren't dumb, they will just blindly follow the first attractive woman who shows a modicum of interest in them.

Hmmm, that sounds dumb to me.

Maybe you've been watching too many movies. The "dumb male who thinks with his hormones instead of his brain" stereotype is prevalent in movies, but I know very few real men who fit the stereotype. There are a few guys like that, but not many. Not even 2% of the guys I know.

Some women think with their private parts too. Stupidity and lust are gender fluid ;-)

For me, all I can think with, and hardly that, is my head. No body, no heart, just logic and reason. Finished one paper. Still over 12 hours until the next one need to be finished. Bach, pepsi max and ginseng have been my doping so far. Now I will raise the dozage to include chocolate and oreos as well.

My computer decided to auto update just before I was supposed to leave work for the day (it would not allow me to select a different time from the options), so I had to wait an extra half hour in order to allow it to finish, before I went home, which, actually I did not have time to go home, so I treated myself to a lovely pre-cooked meal from the Whole Foods hot bar, and then went straight to my seven thirty meeting, and did not get home until after nine thirty, more than twelve hours after leaving for work this morning :p

I bought gas on my way home from the meeting ($1.37.9 per liter!) and had a pleasant conversation with the gas jockey, who is from India, where he had as pets: two dogs, two cows, and four buffalo

Thank you, Ellie. Yes, I really should get to bed :)

Twice this week I hardly slept, waking up too often.

It is really busy at work right now, too, with Christmas coming...

How are you doing?

Busy is always good. We are still doing grads! My boss has been sending me about a thousand or so orders a week to do, maybe as many 15-1800 depending on how many are sitting on the server waiting to be processed. Aside from that, the Christmas rush consists of lots of family portraiture proofs, which the best then come back as enlargement and package (multiple sizes) orders, plus Christmas card quantities. I might usually get around a hundred orders a week when it is slow; Monday there were over two hundred orders on top of all the grad stuff. I like my job! That helps :D And my boss is a nice guy. I am allowed to go online while I am at work, but when it gets super busy, I leave my laptop at home. During actual grad season, I color correct about seven hundred grad orders a day on top of whatever else I might have to do on another printing machine.
