When I thought I had lost all my personal files, all the images I have accumulated over the last almost four years since getting this device, and especially all the hours of work of the last couple of weeks, installing the fonts, the finding transparent graphics to add to the templates I have made in preparation for having the Word of God added to them, I was not really upset. I just thought, hmmm, maybe I should have backed up my files :D Even though the reset is not supposed to affect them! I had looked in folder after folder, only to find them empty  All my movies, and TV series? Gone! All my text documents? Gone! All my images? Gone! All my photos? Gone! But my computer was using the screensaver images I had before the reset, and I realized that would not be possible if everything had been wiped clean. Phew!

However, all my bookmarks are gone :( Sometimes, it is good to start fresh :)
Resetting to factory specs always erases everything  (everything that didn't come with the computer when it was new)

Take one spoonful of sugar and put it in your eyes; then you will have sweet dreams.
If you want spicy dreams; rebuke the devil and place the chili powder on the side table. LOL

If you guys don't mind praying for me, please do. I am having a severely sore IT band in my upper left leg that has kept me off my feet and requires me to use a cane just to get to the kitchen and stuff. Its been like this for a day and a half now. It even hurts when I lay down to sleep despite taking painkillers. I didn't realize that my legs were still so weak and underdeveloped since I had that bad cough and couldn't workout for about a month near the end of last year. I think its also because I wore my worn out old running shoes last saturday in the gym. That's probably why its only one leg. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Nope! Not with windows 10. This was not the first time I have done a reset, either. That is why I had not backed up my files, which had not disappeared after all :) I was looking through a drive that needed me to be connected to the internet or something... and I had not yet installed the wireless AC dual band USB adaptor, which is why all the folders were empty :D It did seem weird to me that the folders were there, but all the files were gone  The reset uninstalls and then reinstalls Windows, and takes over half an hour, maybe forty five minutes, to complete. It removed some of the apps that came with my computer, as well as others I had added, but saved them as links in a folder on the desktop for me so I can easily reinstall them.

What is an IT band?

I woke up screaming with a Charlie horse an hour after going to bed last night, and cannot yet walk properly. The last Charlie horse I had lamed me for about twelve hours :(:p

It’s always so considerate of Facebook to remind me of my finest moments.

I am sitting here beside a loaf of bread, and do not know if I have any butter

I took the bread out of the fridge so I would not forget to take it to work with me to enjoy with my lunch soup/stew, as I had the last couple of days, but then I called into work and arranged to take the day off. This loaf of bread is just not co-operating with me in any way at all

Cristen, your font is so tiny all the time :( I enlarged it for this quote :D

Thanks for the prayers, guys! It still hurts but a little less than yesterday.

Magenta, you should start taking magnesium pills. A medical doctor on youtube says everyone is deficient in magnesium unless you eat a lot of leafy greens. It is an electrolyte that helps your muscles relax. People who experience cramps in the middle of the night would benefit greatly from taking it..

The IT band is a fibrous muscle that goes along the outer side of your thigh from the hip to the knee. Its what lets you raise your leg to the side and twist your leg...

Most browsers have a zoom feature. It's usually ctrl and plus/minus (next to zero) to zoom in and out. I keep mine, on CC, zoomed at 70%, to ensure i don't strain. I just tested it an 100%, the default... oh my gosh, soooo tiny. /feeling old
Laptops and reading... they are too far away to read without glasses, and too close to read with glasses (not reading glasses). So i find no glasses and zoom works best for CC. When i'm browsing more than typing it's glasses and the laptop further away.

The problem with zooming in, is the post then needs a scroll bar if enlarged a great deal, because it does not re-arrange the text to fit the screen :( Otherwise, I do sometimes keyboard zoom :) My ability to read small print disappeared years ago :D I still remember the first time I realized it, looking at a bottle of shampoo knowing that I had been able to read the label before, but seemingly suddenly no longer could  I have a few pairs of reading glasses, too, and have worn prescriptive lenses since my early teens :)

If there is no scroll bar that's a problem with your browser haha. I don't lose my scroll bar when zooming in. I just went zoomed in to 240% and no trouble.

I was always able to read small print, i was actually told Not to read with my glasses on. But i was 15 when i failed the test for my learners permit to drive, that's how i discovered i needed glasses. And i do mean need haha.
In my defense my newest laptop seems to make things much smaller than my previous laptop, even at the same resolution and screen size. So i'm blaming it on that. Actually, up close, everything is perfect. Laptops are just in an awkward in between zone. Well, the way i sit probably causes that since it's further away than most peoples might be.

Oh, there is a scroll bar, but it is inconvenient :p:D I just tried zooming using the browser tool, and it was the same thing.

I am eating some of my bread with soft unripened goat's milk cheese, and sweet purple yam spread :D I have never had yam spread before; I bought it because it was purple, and thought maybe I would make a cake or something with it, but it goes really well with this cheese :D

I could just be more considerate of people’s eyeballs and use a bigger font size but I am concerned I might get carried away and seem like I’m being a smart aleck when really I just want to be helpful :)

I have a friend who does his every month or two. I don't know if it is considered "odd" or not, but I say do what you like as long as it isn't a sin, and don't worry about what other people think.

Thank you :)

Stomach flu, anybody? I’ll share...

Ugh. Everyone in my house has got it. We’re a pathetic bunch tonight.
