I need to start backing everything up on my computer, because my mom thinks my computer might be dying. I can't disagree. It's about 4 years old.

I saw your puzzle in the other thread. You posted information on a public forum and people responded. Oncefalled shared a personal glimpse of his own problems with addiction. JustMonicat kindly tried to help as well. I was also sincere although you probably don't believe that.
People respond to posts on a public forum, that's what happens. This reminds me of people who will post a personal issue on FB or Twitter and get angry when people respond with an opinion. If you don't want other's opinions don't make it public, period.
When I saw Oncefallen's post yesterday I was hoping that would reach you. I'm sorry it fell on deaf ears. Cyphercat I sent you a PM about how nice your forum posts are and how I could tell you really loved the Lord. You can't just not move and stay in your own misery and expect God to just keep blessing you and blessing you. Sometimes we have to do things too. Maybe it's asking for help. Maybe it's filling out a job application instead of waiting for money to fall in your lap.
When James wrote that faith without works is dead, he didn't mean if you don't do A, B, and C, you're going to hell. He meant you can't just say "I believe that God can give me the money I need to get a suitable house." and just wait and wait for someone to give you enough money for a down payment. He meant pray, and go look for a job! Then when you get interviewed and offered the job, pray and make sure God wants you to work there.
You can't just say, "God will help me stop smoking." and still keep the cigarettes by your bed and not tell a non smoking Christian friend to help you stay accountable.
These things have to end. Or we're just living in dysfunction.

I try to follow optical stuff because it's interesting. I miss getting to see the new optical stuff first hand. And even getting to try some. I just saw today that Goggle has come up with a contact lens that can measure glucose levels. I am sure it's still in a trial period but that's neat. I am curious how much these will cost.
I think I might go back when my kids are older, it was fun. I miss taking measurements and I miss fixing things. I don't really miss customer service, but that's part of it too.

My pleasure. I often wonder when I buy a product and it says New and Improved. I always wonder what is improved and what was wrong in the first place.
I once did a product test for facial scrubs, I had to say which one felt like it had more beads and which one had less beads. I really couldn't tell but I marked one of the letters. One was also about foam, is it to foamy, does it need to be more foamy. It was fun to do that but a little weird.
