Random thought: I wish people were more careful with other's hearts and emotions. I think it's wrong to lead someone on just because you feel like it. You never know how much that person cared.
You might or might not be loved by others, but what does that matter when you are loved by God
Ephesians 1:6
to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

since the day you believed you were and are accepted by the creator of all, What need is left?

Ephesians 1:13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Doctor Who! Love it!

I'm no angel. I do sometimes get frustrated with girls and how they communicate so differently than us guys. I like blunt, straight-to-the-point communication. And that's not always possible. :p I do sometimes get frustrated with girls who talk a lot and say little (if you know what I mean) but I try to keep my thoughts to myself. And while I'm tempted as much as any guy to check out girls, I don't, because it's objectifying them. It's quite tricky to get some of my friends to understand that "look but don't touch", isn't an innocent mantra. I try my best to respect girls but I don't always succeed. Thank God for forgiveness.

Yes you did, and quite okay, I am on SSDI, and not loving it, but thankful
There are people who have gotten their benefits honestly. And then there's the other 75% taking advantage of it. Most people who are on disability have gotten their disability honestly and really can't work. Then there are some who have disability because of a previous injury that put them on it, but live better than those who work hard and there's really nothing wrong with them anymore. Heck I know someone that did that. I know more people who have it honestly than those who don't, though. A lot of the others, like welfare and unemployment benefits are a joke.

Government benefits were made out of seemingly good intentions, but now, as America's taking advantage of them, the government will soon have the advantage over us, because they'll control our money.

I'm proud of you lil_christian for your honesty saying that you are still holding back. And how lovely it is for a person to say I want to love. You can't fix your heart, God is the only one who can fix it for you. Keep praying asking Him to fix it for you. Tell Him I come to you God whom you are Love to fill my heart with Your love. :)

"Fear is easy, but love is hard." - Jason Gray

If I could fight with a song, I'm fighting this one. It causes such a war within me. Struggling to let a heart that's been broken love again. I want to love again. Not a romantic love, but just love itself. It's hard knowing the love of Jesus yet knowing I'm holding back.

So true ww_21, I hear you, but remember we ALL sin one way or the other. As in we ALL hurt each other in so many different ways. So let's pray for each other for God to give us love, honesty, wisdom and care for one another and to forgive us our sins. God's prayer says And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us. :)

If you've got to go that route, channel-lock pliers are the best choice. Worked well for me.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm very very very very very very tired. I want to just sleep right now. I only had about 6 hours of sleep last night. I was sleeping better....but with my new meds and stuff, I think I forgot a dose and it threw me off.

Also...if I can get my energy back up, I think I'm going to start biking about 30 minutes every day (Well at least 6 out of 7 days each week. Deciding on whether I should do Sunday or not since I can be tired and busy that day sometimes). I've waited way too long to do so.

Give yourself a day of rest, too, littleC; God thought highly enough of its importance to rest Himself on the 7th day.
The Israelites who obeyed God entered His rest.

"And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed?" Hebrews 3:18.

Take 'rest' seriously, milady. But, that's good and all what your doing and cooking beans and banana bread, that's how God works when we work, and, He does marvelous works through us that bless us in this life, and, most certainly, when we 'rest' in the life to come .

. 2:10 for reference :)

I'm better at communication then I was. I said not to long ago in a recent thread that, men are simple, not stupid simple but to the point simple. For example a couple's conversation, Man: "What restraunt would you like to go to?" Woman: "Oh anything is fine." Man: "OK, how about Longhorn Steakhouse." Woman: "Well no not that." Man: OK, where would you like to go?" Woman: "Well somewhere a little more classy you know like Olive Garden." (Not that Olive Garden is fancy, but I'm trying to make a point) Man: "OK, you could have said that in the first place." Woman: "You should have known." Man: "I wanted to make you happy but you didn't say, I like steak and dead animals so I thought Longhorn would be good." Woman: Well next time you'll know.

That was my little play of complication. I hope I didn't offend any women with that. My husband and I have had conversations like that in the past, now I just say, let's go here. Or if it's his birthday or he really hates the place I chose, I tell him to pick.

I can see why a man would get frustrated with that. But to defend a woman, I think after a number of years it would be nice that your partner would read your mind. ;)

He does, we go to a couple local places around here that serve seafood and steak. He usually orders Seafood, me too. I'm just happy someone else is cooking and serving and cleaning up!

i grew up being told "it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind".

however, after some ill-fated discussions,, i would advise you not to offer that line, girls. it's much less helpful than you'd think... : )

Yes that line doesn't work. Now I think, wow food, movie, I can eat food, no one asking me for stuff. Yes, sounds good! Unless it's BK or McDonalds, I'll do that with the kids, but blah. McDonald's has soup in the winter, I eat that or the oatmeal, both good by the way. Burger King had garden burgers they are good, you can get them without all the stuff. I get them with onion and tomato and put my own Ketchup on. They tend to slather it in stuff, yuck.
