still thinking about my dog, it's amazing how that pitbull grabbed her by her neck hairs and not put even one dimple of a tooth dent in her skin. REally, a miracle, my dog should be dead today. She came around the corner and met a pitbull twice her size almost, and, when I heard the cry, it was instinctive that something was wrong, but I had no idea when I ran outside that IF I had got there a second or two later, that dog would have re-gripped her hold on my dog's neck.

The grace of God, it's so great. Going to the races now, thanking God it's the weekend, thanking God I get to go see my nephew, 13, I pray I have a good talk with him about summertime and working, he's to that age almost now and just appreciate your prayers too because a month ago I gave him a talking to about finishing strong in school and now I need to give him a reward if he did that, I don't care so much about grades either, just being attentive and not getting into trouble. He's very outgoing and is funny just of sheer character and personality so he has to bridle that fact, it's taken him some tough lessons his first 11 years to understand that truth. But, praise God, he's been non-homeschooled, which is best for him because my sister has a 4 and 6 year old now, although the 6 is in kindergarten, just finished and 4 now goes to preschool next year, she just turned 4 .

Anyway, just all thoughts colliding in my head, it really is all about Him, I pray you all have great weekends, time to go watch the races with my dad, then, we will stay out near the ocean and go to church with sis and her family sun. and whatever else, piddy likes to run on the sand and is cautious but likes the ocean waters too. Wherever God has you, you are there. Kind of sounds like that universe shirt, doesn't it. the Lord leads :)

Good to know, you are small in this world of 9+ billion of us human folk, but, to God, you are bigger than life, so much more than 'cosmic dust,' so to speak , you big bunch of atoms, you :)

I'm going to start Posting Regularly on my YouTube Channel.

I think it will be therapeutic for me and I'll have to learn about video editing.

Sometimes I think I'm really bad at keeping offline stuff online.

I hate gossip. I reeeeeeeeeeeeally hate gossip. Do gossips forget that God sees the heart and that they will be held accountable for every word they say, especially against God's children? If the person they are slamming for drinking one ice cold beer on a hot day has a pure heart that loves the Lord, which person do you think meets with His disapproval? (It's a rhetorical question)

He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets; therefore associate not with him who talks too freely. Proverbs 20: 19

"Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them."
Mark 7:15

Video editing can be fun. I use Sony Vegas but there are some free ones out there and one that comes with Windows (Windows Movie Maker) that also works. :)

You mean keeping offline stuff offline? Yea, it happens. :/
Yeah my brain likes to scramble things. :p But I meant having offline world away from the online world. Because with social networks at your fingertips these days, you can blurt anything out you want to blurt out at any given point in time.

Do you know that for the longest time, I've been having issues where my laptop would be crazy slow and laggy despite being a Windows 7 machine with no malware on it? Seriously! There were no viruses or anything. I figured I just had drawn the short straw on technology.

A couple days ago I disabled the Aero theme. It's a lot of eye candy but I wanted to try and boost my laptop's performance. It would freeze up on me often. Since I've disabled Aero, I have not had those problems! Hallelujah! My computer runs like a young Windows 7 machine should! :D
I thought that they got rid of those types of problems with Windows 7. I mean that's what I heard all the hubub was about (that it didn't have the slow, resource-draining problems that Vista had).

I wonder when I'll be totally healed from things that broke my heart, and stop asking God "So, um,...what was that for??"

I love naps. A lot. Thank You for naps, God. I wonder who invented them? Adam maybe. *shrugs* Really good idea, Adam.

Yeah...I guess I did eat too much paste as a child.

Update on my own post. I logged off and went to read my Bible. I could feel God calling me to. Before I did so, I lay on my bed and cried a bit. Questioned Him a bit. Then I went to read my Bible. I knew I wanted to read Job, my favorite book. I am using a new Bible that someone great got me, so I didn't know exactly where Job was in that particular Bible. I know where Job is...but you know how different Bibles have different places for books depending on other commentary and notes?

I opened the Bible, expecting to have to flip through a couple pages or books to get to Job.

I turned right to the first page. I actually laughed out loud. This new Bible had commentary/notes/an extra story that I had not read before. It was perfect. I don't think it was a coincidence. If I had just flipped to where I wanted to be in Job (the last chapters), I would not have read the extra stuff, which is what I needed to read.

Anyway. Just wanted to share. :)

Soooo I need to leave for my mission trip today. Problem is, someone seemingly has misplaced the air mattresses. God, help us find them or else I won't be able to sleep at night.

At this very moment it is 80 degrees out...sunny...and it is thundering as though it were in the middle of the worst storm ever, yet there is not one single drop of rain coming down.

Nature is silly.

Okay, so I just got hit up to do a septum piercing. You know I really didn't mean to open up this can of worms when I did a couple of piercings around here but people are trying to pry it open!

Fun fact: I am, in a stretch of definition of words, a "post-Evangelical." If you're interested in hearing a quick blurb about what that means, PM me here or elsewhere if you can. I also seem to have embraced the "ancient-future movement," which entails looking back at the teachings and - yes I will say it - traditions of the Early Church and incorporating them into my walk of faith. This is actually a current trend, but I've never heard of it until today!

It amazes me that the same people that condemn something that it is not quite "Christian" enough for them are the same people who watch shows and movies and listen to music that would even be offensive to most non-Christians.

Oh Lord... please chastise us and show us the error of our hypocritical ways.

The Jezebel spirit is one that is characterized by this behavior. Very demanding of others behaviors and judging by sight instead of righteous judgment. Claims to love God, but hates and condemns others and therefore a liar and the truth is not in them.

Rid me of this spirit, Lord. Put her far from my door. Do not let her words discourage me, nor her ways seduce me.

I thank you Lord that you offer your wisdom and understanding so that we might not be offended but able to judge rightly according to your word.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Jesus said it. I believe it. But good luck with that among Christians. Some would rather have their ears tickled than receive truth spoken as tough love. Some would rather have people gossip about them behind their backs than have people who love them try to put a stop to it by confronting the situation as lovingly head on as possible.

I offer the writings of Paul. Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit he wrote the definition of love in Corinthians, but he knew how to boldly confront lies/false teaching/things that were harmful to individuals and the entire Body of Christ. THAT is love. Godly love.

As a professional peacemaker I have had to get down and dirty more than once. It's not butterflies and roses. Sometimes it is blood, guts and tears.
