Tell us something interesting. It can be anything. It can be something about yourself if you want. Post pics or videos if you can.
Just NO POLITICS please.

I'll start:

Did you know an owl can keep it's head perfectly still even if you move it's body around like this?

Appreciating extra a thread that takes our focus off of you know what, lol

Drinking turtle tears provides butterflies much-needed sodium, which is otherwise missing from their diet. Video recently shot in the Peruvian Amazon shows an astonishing sight: colorful butterflies drinking tears directly from the eyes of turtles basking by the river Screenshot_20200316-092303_Facebook.jpg

That is so fascinating! It reminds me of Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

That is just awesome to see how God cares for and provides for His creations.

Such words are called ambigrams.

that is interesting. I was talking about this very subject with the kindergarten teacher at my kids school. She said because children who are first learning to read actually look at EACH and EVERY letter in a word to try and decode the word that they are unable to read that. (I suppose the same would be true for someone whose brain decodes words according to the order of letters.)

Did you know that the human eye can see more shades of green than any other color? My question for you is, why?

Boxer crabs use sea anemones to keep away predators. They use boxing moves to protect themselves.
Boxer crabs and sea anemones form one of the most unusual and astounding symbiotic relationships in the entire animal kingdom. These crabs wield sea anemones attached to their claws in horizontal motions as they move. This colorful display serves as a natural deterrent to predators, and when directly threatened, the crab will utilize the sea anemone in a forward, ‘punching’ movement towards the aggressor. The sea anemone’s stinging tentacles serve as the ultimate defense mechanism for the crab.

I wholeheartedly believe I know God's favorite color. However I can not produce fact, I can speculate on observation.

Take a guess?

It is the color of the sky. And 2/3 of the world is covered in water which looks... Blue.

If you created something and could use any color, would you not use your favorite the most?

Costasiella kuroshimae (also referred to as “leaf sheep” and “Shaun the sheep”) is a species of sacoglossan sea slug whose beady eyes and flat face make it look like an adorable cartoon sheep. Add some droopy feelers and a phosphorescent, leaf-like body, and this little darling may just be the loveliest slug in the ocean!

Costasiella kuroshimae, which can grow up to 5 millimeters in length, can be found near Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines. They graze on green algae, and use the chloroplasts from their food to manufacture their own energy in a process called kleptoplasty. One of the only non-plant organisms in the world that can perform photosynthesis, leaf sheep can survive up to a few months on the energy produced from kleptoplasty.

And that marks the first time "loveliest slug" was ever used as a phrase. :giggle:

keeute.

I have a random thought. (thats is also a fact of life) why not match up the infertile couples who spend thousands of dollars on IVF with those babies that need to be adopted from couples that cant afford to have children.

The X in X Ray is of the Algebraic formula. The person who discovered X Ray's did this to signify he did not know how his discovery worked. So it's real name is "I dont know how this works ray"

The term "Beat around the bush" comes from a medieval sport called Bat fowling. This sport had people striking birds with bats. The gruesome sport was waged against birds who lived in low bushes. To give them a sporting chance they beat around the Bush with there bats to wake them up and give em a running start before bludgeoning them to death....yes imagine the video games they must have played since according to politicians it's the only thing that causes violence 😛😎

Filaments in the universe are very similar to the nerve/neuron connections in the human brain.

I think that really just goes to show that there's something in human nature that wants violence. Maybe having it available in video games is preferable to having people enacting such things in real life.
