That awkward moment when you're at a yard sale with your mom, and she has her arms full of stuff, and you follow her to the table to pay the guy there for it...

And for no apparent reason, she gets all goofy while setting the items down and says, "I just don't seem to have enough hands!"

And you look at the guy, who is staring blankly at your mom, who is now staring at the guy with a mortified expression on her face because...

The guy hasn't got any arms.

That awkward moment when your pastor reads "20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, [FONT=Helvetica Neue, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]there am I among them.”,, Then asks why it's important Jesus is in the midst of two people who gather in his name..........And I answer....Well the context is church discipline, so it's probably good knowing Jesus is there and in agreement for such a difficult thing............And the pastor is caught off guard because he was just trying to make a general point about Jesus being present when two people pray. So he then has to say..yes in context it means that...but why is it good to know he's there when two or more pray...?


Sometimes in Bible study I feel like this snot nosed person..

....when you're approaching a car who is STOPPED at a green light, so you lay on your horn and start yelling MOOOOOVE out your car window like a wild person, and the bike rider who is observing from the crosswalk starts laughing at the whole situation.

dont text and drive. especially around me. i. will. flip. my. marbles.

i ought to keep poppers in my car, just to pelt at distracted drivers' cars.

That awkward moment when................. I was biking on my nearby bike trail without a shirt on, and as I passed by a man and his approximately 4-year old son, the son says out loud "I can see that guys nipples" (true story).

I didn't know what to do then, but I know exactly what I'm going to do now.............. invest in a sports bra!!!

I'm thoroughly mentally traumatized by this information... but yet laughing hysterically at the same time.

Descyple, what are you thinking??? You're obviously enticing people and possibly causing them to sin!! (Not to mention traumatizing young children.)

After all the threads about modesty here, haven't you learned to COVER IT UP???!!!

Hey SeoulSearch, as long as it is still legal for men to go topless in public, then I shall continue to exercise my right!!!

Having said that............... if I do get a sports bra to wear while biking (and that's a big "if") what color would you suggest I get? I could go green to match my eyes, or perhaps I should live a little and get magenta to match my colorful personality!!!

Nah, forget it. If people don't want to see me shirtless, they can find another bike trail!!!


Now where did I put my nipple sun-block???

Was it followed by the awkward moment of wanting to tell your boss what mistakes she made as a mom that, if avoided, would've led to more grateful children and made motherhood a lot more "worth it", Pipp :)?






Seriously, did she give them everything they wanted? Or not make them ever have to earn anything?

Something like that .... she has 3 grown disabled "kids" that can be quite the handful but the one I think she is so upset by is my sister in law (not disables one) My sister in law is the mother of 4 children and is in her 30's.... she's recently separated and heading for divorce and has decided to make a few decisions for herself and her mom don't like it. She wants her daughter to rely on her. So it made me a little aggravated at the mom.
