I thought the biblical way to find a spouse was with a fishing rod?

Well it should work if you are a woman and want to fish for men.
Im not sure if it would work the other way around. :)

Ask your parents for help
Jeremiah 29:6
Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.

That's a good thing. At least one person was listening.

When you have one job and it isn't what people try to tell you it is...

Yeah I think they got betrothed around age 11 or something.
Probably marrried by 12 and had 10 kids by age 13. Lol

You would need to bribe them with expensive jewellery! :D

Miri,
First of all, they were probably older than that. Bride prices were regulated in the Old Testament.

Also, I am serious. It may not work for everyone, but it is an option.

Instead of water the camels God asked me to Send the man a Bible you have so many.

Tourist had expressed that in his move from Maine he had left his Bible behind and so answering Gods prompting I sent him a Bible and the rest is history...... Working toward the third year of it....

I guess you could say that's a Biblical way to find a spouse.

I meet a brokenhearted man. I tried to help. I gave him a bible. I don't know if it helped. Now, I feel like wanting to get it back so I can be set free :( Well, I believe it helped him. Maybe, I have to keep giving bibles! :)

(This is why I go to the gym, of course. So that when I finally meet THE ONE, I can keep hitting him across the head, as many times as it takes.)[/QUOTE]

Now, I have reason to go to a gym! :D

Nerd reflex: Where are the lines in the sand where she was being dragged?
He just knocked her down and grabbed her hair to start dragging her.

Where on earth did you get that idea? Hitting a woman down and dragging her is NOT the way to find a spouse!! My late husband certainly didn't do that to me!!
