I like the long hair GLR! Looks great! If it was a whole lot longer and in a pony tail with a cap on and if you were blond, I'd say it would start looking like you're a horse trainer. As it is though (aside from the sideburns thing you and your mom had going) you don't masculine at all. At ALL . Quite lovely.

Actually I gotta say, every picture I've seen on this thread - one and all are quite lovely and the hair suits each very well. Glad to see too, Grace, that you still have your fishing pole.

You know, wigs are probably a good way to see what you'd look like with X style like AZ said. Abigail is pulling off every one of those looks, but it just seems like a good way to see what you'd look like. Don't they let you try stuff on at a wig store? They don't me, but ... And another good thing - Dolly Parton was asked once how long it takes to fix her hair and she said "I don't know, I'm never there".
Thanks 17! And welcome back, btw. You've been missed!

Abigail, I am loving those photos! The second one especially (green shirt) looks really beautiful and natural on you. My forehead is too low to rock bangs, but you pull it off perfectly. I love your actual hair too. :D

I see pics of you on FB grace. You don't look 40. You don't act 40. You can keep your hair long as it is. My personal opinion is it would be a detriment to cut it. But I also prefer long hair on women. Every woman looks better with long hair to me. But it fits you well.

Sadly this is the most interesting thread in a while.

I rarely start new threads because I only start them when I feel strong enough about something to do so. This is the same reason I don't start a blog, despite many people saying I should. I don't feel a need to use my words to start a subject or be the central focus idly.
Not a commentary on anyone else. This is my personal stance.

I think your hair looks cool and healthy. You remind me of the anime girls that have really long hair. If you don't want to cut it, don't. But if it's a chore to keep it long, then I would cut it just a little. Maybe a few inches but still have it long. Either way, it's nice!

This is what I mean when I say anime girl.

GLR ..you have gotten such great advice. I agree to go shorter in stages but am biased as I like long hair also. I have opposite problem though as mine is curly and thicker. Yours looks like silk!!

LOL.

Zero, sometimes I don't know if I should hug you...

Or kick you. :p

Besides, you write the best pop-culture and getting-to-know-you threads around. :)

I have tended to prefer very short hair on women. Pixie-cut I think was the term. More important to me though was how the hair smelled (yeah, I'm one of THOSE dudes), and that the hair was NOT red.

That was back in my former life. In the before time, in the long, long ago. With women these days dying hair all kinds of multiple colors, dying hair intentionally silver, shaving one side of their head to get the early 1990s skater-cut...I'm so out of the loop on what is cool.

Straight long hair suits you really well Grace. :) And I <3 the short curls Fenner (I wish the shape of my face suited it)

---

I use olive oil on my hair (conditioner and hair serum because my natural hair can get too frizzy) and I do hair spa twice a week (olive oil hair spa). I used to use coconut milk (natural, overnight) for my hair when I was younger but imagine the inconvenience lol.

My hair is very thick and very black. But black is too strong a colour that doesn't match my skin tone :/ So, I had my hair coloured gold for the first time last June but, it turned out dark brown.

I've never had long hair as in waist length. I always had it cut up to shoulder because it gets heavy and it takes some time to wash (not to mention the excessive use of conditioner and hair serum xD). But, I decided this year that I will NOT have it trimmed just to satisfy my curiosity on what my head would look like with really long hair.

I tried on wigs to see which hairstyle works for me (cause I don't do perm and blow dry, also for the fun of it without the damage). Here's a few of them (yes I kept the pictures to compare lol):

I used wigs for both images below. I thought blonde-ish matched my skin tone better than the other.

My real hair before I grew and coloured it.

This is my current (just took this like 2 seconds ago. Okay maybe 10) see it's now brown-ish. Compared to my dark hair above. And I'm kind of satisfied with it right now. Just waiting for it to grow longer.

Why are you so pretty???
