I always wait a week of trying to loose weight before I start paying attention to the scale. Your body knows something is changing and stocks up, preparing for the worst case scenario; you've been marooned on Mars. Thousands of miles away from the nearest chocolate bar. Unless I'm mistaken and rocks are nutritious- you're going to be hungry.. and well... dying of other things first but that's not my point.
At least this seems to be the case for me. Lost almost ten pounds this summer and those jeans that were a little tight are nice and cozy now. ^-^
