I don't know if she originated this saying or not, but I don't support "If you can't handle me at my worst, then you don't deserve me at my best". That quote tells me that a woman can act pretty much any way she wants to in a romantic relationship and her man is just supposed to accept it and take it. Without raising even one eyebrow of disapproval.
Not saying that the man doesn't have the responsibility to go with the "downs" of a marriage as well as the "ups". Indeed, marriage vows include "for better or for worse". That being said, the "handle me" quote is just an excuse for bad behavior.
