Thanks very much, Ruby.

Alas, the only places I write are here and in personal correspondence. :) I try to reread my posts before putting them up but you'll almost always find an error or two -- I wouldn't have the patience to do any professional writing. ;) Though at some of my jobs, I volunteered to write a couple of handbooks/guides, and while it almost drove me batty :D, I do seem to enjoy that type of work.

However, I like it when I can do it on my terms -- anything else, and I'm afraid of it turning into a drudgery and obligation. I appreciate the kind words though!!!

And I very much enjoy your posts as well. I stop to read them every time I'm scrolling through the forums. :)

Aw, thank you so much.

*shrugs and kind of shyly kicks her feet at the ground*

I was always a nerd in school... and I'll always kind of see myself that way, but thank you.

And, if you ask the people here who have known me a while (like Pippy), they can also tell you I can be pretty darn grumpy as well! :)
Yes I know what you mean. When a hobby or something you enjoy becomes an obligation, up goes the pressure and down goes the enjoyment.
It would be great to find something where that doesn't happen.
Thanks for compliment😁

I think the word you put into capitals, godly, is what caught my eye. Maybe that is what you were hoping would be the focus? It should be. As for attraction, the thing that first gets us to stop and focus on anyone, a person's appearance, is not something where on look will work for everyone. You know for yourself, you might see a physically attractive woman, but if the moment she starts speaking you hear negativity, unkindness and ignorance, your high evaluation of her attractiveness will disappear.
A photo or measurements don't have enough information for me to form an attraction. I can't hear your voice, I can't tell if you are calm, frantic, shifty, focused, warm or cold. I can't see how you treat people, or whether you would champion those who can't help themselves. Weight is something that can adjust due to age, health, genetics and lifestyle. By itself, it shouldn't be enough to make a determination.
In your case I have to eliminate myself from the survey because I've already read some of your posts on this site and you seem like a good hearted and sincere believer and that makes you an attractive person right there.

The smart ones will think eternal vs temporary. I think of this verse.

Genesis 3:19 New International Version (NIV)
19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”

We all will grow old and have wrinkles and be dust eventually.

Heart and soul matter most. It's also good to take care of your temple God gave you. Some might have a harder time than others (thyroid or other diseases). I guess there should be some visual attraction, but the chemistry everyone should be looking for is equally yoked, communication, and compatibility.

I like the way you write seoulsearch. You should have your own blog, column or something. Is it what you do for a job, that is writing or at least a hobby?
I so agree! Her writing is so thoughtful, real, and just flows well. CC is blessed to have her here :)

Women just want to be loved on, protected, and appreciated. It's also important to be a spiritual leader. Mikhal you be you, trust in Gods perfect timing, and worship Him while we wait. Seek Him first and all these things shall be added... including a wonderful wife Lord willing!

“I’m 28, 330lbs of Hispanic chub. Nice to meet you!”

Now! After I say that and you see this, what do you think? Is it what you expected? Did you imagine me bedridden? It is interesting to contrast our first impression to the realities. D5E11059-0AF9-4595-86FC-05EF9F43CB3B.jpeg

I am a 300lb, GODLY man, 6ft tall. Ladys...how attracted are you on this statement?
Statistics have very little attraction value for me one way or the other. But misspelling Ladies..... it would have been funnier if you misspelled it laddies (or going on with that thought if instead of lad we went to lass and then you asked the Lassies what they thought that would have been a howler too).

I agree with everyone who has commented they'd need to know more about someone to know if they're truly attracted to them.

I've found some men attractive until they opened their mouth. 😳 Then they became very unattractive.

When it comes to your thread question Mikhal , I'd say theres a slight attraction...Just cause I'm tall too. 😜

I'm wondering how many PM's Mikhal is going to get.
You know, to see if there more to be attracted to. ;)
