Not bathsheba's fault at all
My bet is that she knew exactly what she was doing. Her man was away. The king just happened to live in eyesight. A good time to level up. Hatch a plan: Get naked and lured him in.

However...I do agree with you. Doesn't matter what she did. He was the man. He was the king. They weren't equal. He bore the responsibility.

I'm not so sure she knew David was home, plus his servant or whoever told him who she belonged to.

Well to be fair she did not arrange for her husband to be murdered, and she also suffered the loss of her baby.
And you know, I’m not condoning what she did but it was a great temptation in her path for the very King himself to be pursuing her; please don’t assume I’m justifying her but it’s worth taking into account. If I remember rightly he summoned her in the first place... maybe she should have taken greater care with her privacy when bathing, but still; the greater responsibility seems to rest with the man here and ultimately it cost her dearly.

Interesting though how Nathan the Prophet referred to her as a lamb in his illustration of the scenario to King David...and interesting that you assumed she was devious, calculating and unfaithful... maybe your right because God did, after all, allow her baby to die... but they’re harsh, judgemental words when we don’t know for a fact if that was her heart...

A faithful man who can find?

I suspect Nathan didn't care about her deceit because he was talking to David about his failings. If he had mentioned that she failed too, then the message to David would have been greatly watered down. David was completely responsible for what happened. As a man, and as the king, the responsibility was with him. No one else.

Bathsheba on the other hand was responsible for her actions. We know that she decided to be naked in full view of the king while her husband was away. That doesn't sound accidental to me. David was THE premier alpha male of his time. I'm sure most all women wanted him. I'm sure most all men wanted to be him. The fact that Bathsheba actually succeeded doesn't make her any worse really than all the rest. I'm sure others tried similar things. And I'm sure many, many others wanted to but couldn't for one reason or another. You're responding like I'm ripping on her. I'm not. She was just human, like the rest of us. I kinda like her actually.

1In the spring of the year,a when kings normally go out to war, David sent Joab and the Israelite army to fight the Ammonites. They destroyed the Ammonite army and laid siege to the city of Rabbah. However, David stayed behind in Jerusalem. 2 Samuel 11:1

What verse tells of that Bathsheba KNEW that David stayed behind in Jerusalem during a time when kings went to war? What verse tells us that she had that knowledge?

None. I'm just putting 2 and 2 together. He's the king. You don't think word of that would have gotten around? I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

Is there a Bible verse that tells us that word had gotten around the city about David staying behind in Jerusalem at a time when kings went to war? Is there a verse to support that?

When someone is getting to know more than one potential person at a time. It shows that they don't speicifically like you but are waiting to see who responds first or weighing up who they may like the best.

Sort of, but at least in Bachelor you are aware that the person is talking to others. It is beyond me why anyone would go on that show.
My ex used to watch that show. I find those shows not only stupid but gross.
