What do christians do for fun these days?

One of my favorite things to do is grab a group of people (the more the better) and go ice-blocking! It's hard not to make friends with people who are all looking ridiculous together, and anyone who happens to be at the park you go to will be drawn to the group, so it's actually pretty good for outreach, and goes a long way toward dispelling the notion that Christians don't have fun.

Here in Idaho its the grab the neighbors recycling head out to the dirt roads and shoot it full of holes. With that said we had a 20's age veggietales party last weekend.

I totally want in on your Veggietales party!


Oh, and for me? I'm a little bit of a loner, and I read a lot and write. I go for walks/jogs and spend time with my little doggie, Ellie. I have a few good friends I hang out with on occasion. I'm just starting to get involved with this 25-35 year-old women's group through church, and it looks like we're all creative types, so that should be fun.

Not sure if you're talking specifically about Christian youth or just anyone at any age. I remember our older youth doing a "Bigger or Better" scavenger hunt

Split into two groups, set a time line, like 1hr, then each group goes door-to-door to ask for a donation for your game.

Once you've got your first item, go to the next house and ask if they would be willing to TRADE you the item you have for something bigger or better to help you win your game.

Continue going from house to house, trading up each itam to get what you consider the biggest or the best. Nothing gets returned to the original owner, so it's got to be a donation. Which means, you'll probably not be getting a car to ride hom

So the team that comes back with the bigest or best (valued) item wins.

Iceblocking is like summertime sledding, you get one of those ice blocks they sell in the freezer case, fold a towel on top of it, and ride it down the hill. It has a higher difficulty level than sledding, because the block is harder to balance on, but it's a blast!

I've seen people ice blocking on TV, think it was on the show jackass, it looked extremely dangerous, yet awesome at the same time.

It looks scary to me. I am too old and fragile for such a thrilling activity. I don't even have the courage and strength to ride on a rollercoaster anymore.

I enjoy having a picnic with my family or close friends in the mountain or at the beach.

I'm not sure I'd want to play paintball with women, I would be very hesitant to shoot them. In that moment of hesitation, that woman would probably unload on me haha.
